CASHIER, B. GOOD
At B. Good I work as a cashier and representative of the front house. I encourage customers to
eat healthy and not be afraid to try new things.

October 2017-
VOLUNTEER, PIEDMONT HEALTH SERVICES AND SICKLE CELL AGENCY
While at PHSSCA I volunteer in any area where needed. My tasks can range from taking phone
calls, faxing to other offices or handling the social media accounts to assist with promotion of an
event.

SEPTEMBER 2017 –
STAFF ASSISTANT, JOHNSON C. SMITH UNIVERSITY, HEALTH PLEX
The Health Plex serves as our health research facility. There I assist my peers and others in the
community to be “Healthy and Active.” I also perform fitness assessments that require me to
record height, weight and blood pressure.

I graduated from high school with a 3.0 GPA. I served as Miss. Senior; I was also co-captain of the
dance team (Marching Band of Thunder).

This major has allowed me to plan and participate in many health- related activities. Courses
taken include Program Planning, Applications in Community Health, Minority Health and
Environmental Health.

November 2017-
Member, National Council of Negro Women
With this organization, it gives me an opportunity to inspire. We are young ladies who believe in self-
worth and the uplifting of others. Hard-working, determined and always striving for better; not just for
one’s self but the community and young ladies around us.

April 2018-
Member, JCSU For Reproductive Rights
One of the campus locations for planned parenthood generation action groups sits on our campus. I
serve as a member of this organization, enhancing the community and young adults on the importance
of women’s rights, planned families, contraceptives and preventive measures.

September 2018-
Pre-Conception Peer Educator, Johnson C. Smith University Chapter
In undergrad, PPE members are promoters of healthy lifestyle activities before and after conception.
Our theme this year was “Healthy and Active. We also use special events such as CIAA to promote
health. This year, we pushed “CI-Safe” to ensure positive and safe sex practices during CIAA.
