Actual measured data from a vessel operating on ”identical” legs.

Each column represents the propulsion power consumed on each leg.

Dynamic Sea Margin

The Dynamic Sea Margin is composed by the factors affecting the performance
of a vessel. In ideal conditions these would not exist, but in real life they can
form a significant portion of propulsion energy consumption.
Knowing the weight of each factor is the key to optimise the voyage and assess
the impact of structural modifications.

Propelling Power vs. Speed Profile

Is there a relation between the speed profile of the vessel and the propelling energy used for the leg in
question? Accurate data collected from the vessel with the Dynamic Sea Margin ”filtered” out enables you
to follow the effect of speed profiles.

Eniram Dynamic Trimming

Assistant

Measures trim dynamically

•Sophisticated and robust sensor technology measures
vessel trim within an inch at any time

Guides crew to optimum trim

•The optimum trim is a changing value depending on
conditions such as loading, weather and geographical

Very easy to use

•The user interface has been designed by mariners for
mariners: ”stay in green and you’re saving”

Used by over 100 vessels by end of 2011: including Tankers, Container Vessels,
Bulkers, Cruise Vessels and Car Ferries
