Refrigeration
1)Thermodynamic condition at various state
2)Enthalpy= total heat content of system, internal energy+ product of pressure and volume.
3)Entropy= degree of disorder
4) suction pressure of AC and reefer depends on temp. How it is obtained.
5) to reduce temp, adjust thermostatic switch, so solinoid v/v closes at that temp. =LP cut off
6) back pressure v/v
7)Amount of latent heat being absorbed is less because it boils at lower temp.
8) hot gas defrosting= compressor outlet passes through evaporator.
9) discharge gauge- condensing temp of 3 or 4 refrigerants for that particular press.
10) Air in system= discharge press fluctuates( non condensing), higher pressure(Air getting compressed), longer running,
11) close condenser O/L, compressor LP cuts off, SW I/O temp equals, connect collecting bottle, purge, while frosting on line
close Vv, open condenser v/v, discharge gauge's temp= SW temp then all Air is purged out.
12) over charging= surface area for gas cooling reduces, HT and cause HP, more power needed for compressor.
13) Tx valve regulates flow of refrigerant.
Keeps evaporator coils always filled or flooded with liquid.
"It prevents starvation of ref inside evaporator coils."
14) depending on heat load it sends more ref to evaporator coils, more boiling, more heat absorbing.
15) equalizing line- same above.
Evaporator O/L pressure is lesser than pressure at starting of evaporator. So equalising line gives less pressure to bellows,
causes less closing or more opening, more refrigerant to evaporator.
"It prevents starvation of ref inside evaporator coils."
16) 1 ton AC , 2 ton AC capacity
17) unloader mechanism, prevents unnecessary cut in cut off.
18) safety spring( in case of liquid getting to compressor).
19) short cycling-
Drastic reducing of refrigerant,
Leaky sol v/v,
LP switch mal fn.,
20) moisture in system- freezing tx Vv, corrosion, LO detoriatio n,
21) swatting/frosting at sucn of CC- Tx Vv mal fn. Liquid comes to CC. Expands there, atm moisture condenses as latent heat
absorbtion.
22) belt driven reefer comp.
Safety-belt slips when liquid comes to compresser, motor's heat don't affect CC
23) Why CC pressurised ,
24) bleed port connects sucn Vv and cc
25) King Vv or double seatedcheck Vv,
Fully close or fully open, both sides have Vv seat, so prevent leak through gland paking.
26) Mechanical seal
how to change, draw diagram
27) stationary part of seal is on motor side.
28) hermetic compressor
29) dryness fraction 1 and at saturated temp is dry steam
30) dryness fraction-
