Dear Alumni, Parents, Staff & Friends,

We are just over a month away from the 2019 Rogers Invitational Golf Tournament on Friday, August 9th at
Green Valley Country Club. Again I am anticipating a highly successful and well-attended outing. Below
are just some of the ways your support was used this past year:
 Funding for 5 athletic-based scholarships or awards – Toppa, Chandler, Campbell, Viau & Dougherty
 Student-athletes travel to Outdoor New England (ME) & National (NC) Track & Field Championships
 NEW Equipment for: Football - shoulder pads; Gymnastics - Warm-ups
 Swim team certified as Life Guards to help fill much needed jobs in the community
 Support for the Cheerleaders Summer Camp and the Girls Ice Hockey Co-Op Program
 Routine preventative maintenance service visits for the Rick Hole Fitness Center

Fundraising efforts have become a significant and vital piece of the athletics department so that I can continue
to provide our young athletes the tools and resources they need in order to learn, improve and succeed. This
would not be possible without the help and support of the generous Newport County businesses and individual
residents, who each year continually support our student-athletes. Thank you for your continued support of
RHS Athletics! In the past you may have played, sponsored a tee, or donated raffle items. I respectfully ask for
your continued support and generosity.
