I am looking for an engineering position with freedom to ‘think big’ exploring new possibilities
in a flat scheme of organization. As an openminded Engineer, I seek an environment to learn and
develop multidisciplinary knowledge, in an integrated environment close to Manufacturing, Assembly
and Testing. The very fact of such industrial research or the niche engineering at industries excites me
with the depth of the engineering prowess that goes into development of world-renowned products. A
summer job is the most productive way to mingle with the experienced and dedicated fraternity of
engineers from different cultures, to imbibe the approach with international team spirit, developing
global competence. I look ahead for master’s thesis, which will lay up a perfect foundation to develop
essential skills and competencies for a future employee with application-specific knowledge on
different systems.
Critical Evaluation, Attention to detail, flexible for cross functional roles and systematic
innovation have been my core strengths. What sets me apart is self-sustained motivation driven by an
obsessive penchant for understanding mechanics behind the working of machines. This has led to
cross-functional training of my brain to transform from the illusion of knowledge to practical action of
problem-solving with analytical and technical reasoning. My professional stint for three years at an
OEM helped me with accelerated learning by involving in a truly versatile role working on the
development of special purpose machinery which involved different subsystems, especially critical
machine elements like, precision clamping and driving mechanisms, Gear drives, couplings, Brakes,
Spindles, designed from the scratch. I also involved in the evaluation of standard off-the-shelf machine
elements for optimized selection, Owning the product development from design to implementation and
prove out of solutions. At KTH, I have opted for courses that specialise in Machine design that can
help me develop the knowledge of application of making design decisions based of applied mechanics.
I have been involved in the development of system architecture for autonomous Scania trucks as a part
of the course work and also the technical development of electric drivetrain for Formula-style race
cars. This summer, I look forward to enhancing my understanding of the intricacies in mass
manufactured or highly optimized or high performing components to witness the manifestations of
theories of mechanics applying my design knowledge, using modern engineering and visualization
tools. I am open to any role from design to testing However, I would prefer working close to design or
R&D on any specific problems for system or a technology in mind, (eg:-Gear technology)
