Amending Abilities
Solsonian athletes who possess enough discipline, determination and faith, are really
worthy to be called the pride of our homeland. They have sacrificed a lot and did their best
for the name of our municipality. Despite the fact that they do not make themselves on top,
they still must be rewarded, not only by stipends but also by glory and fame.
Unfortunately, some athletes are not serious in the games that they are playing. They are not
giving their full potential in doing such kind of activities, instead, they are taking it for
granted. Their performance are getting to its worst point. These athletes must be rejected to
represent our school because they are just doing what they wanted to do.
On the past few years, Solsona was reigning the East Unit Secondary Schools Athletic
Association (EUSSAA) Meet. Unluckily, they were not able to make it this year. We cannot
blame the athletes because we don’t have the authority to do so. And we cannot refrain from
taking comments and mere suggestions. We are just sitting on the same plane, watching
them. That’s all we can do.
Our persistent athletes have the chance to correct their mistakes that they are doing. All
athletes can still amend their talents and abilities as long as they are willing to. And so, they
can be able to kick towards victory, shoot for supremacy and striving for success.
On the other hand, we can make a difference. Let us help through vigorous financial support
and moral support of other SNHS fellows in order to have a better performance.
Let us be the agents of change. We believe that we can still ____________________.
Let us prove ourselves that we are neither trashes to be trashed nor glasses to be broken.
SNHS athletes can make it possible by not letting their fighting spirit cool down in order to
surmount the challenges that block their way to victory.

For the past few years, Filipino athletes are recognized because they really
possess the value of determination and faith coupled with their extraordinary
talents and skills. They have overwhelmed the country for they are always
bringing home the glory and fame in their own field of events. But their lack of
support from the government leads to lack of self-assurance and confidence in
winning the game.
Filipinos are outshining in their different sports because are really a
manifestation of a good athlete which has the . An ideal model is Anthony
Beram who emerged as the first double-gold medalist for the Philippines in the
29th Southeast Asian Games after ruling the men's 400-meter run at the Bukit
Jalil Stadium.
Beram did his best in reaching his dreams of dexterity and determination,
even without the adequate financial provision from the government. Our athletes,
who are bannering our country are doublessly in need of cash for they lack of
facilities and equipments.
One of the factors that affect young athletes in captivating a fight is their
lack of bravery and confidence that they will do it. In his preparations, he really
need to have a positive thinking and a good fighting spirit. He needs to be more
assured that he will win the game despite the challenges that come his way. It is
very saddening to know that our very own athletes lack vigorous financial support
from the government. Doubtlessly, they are anguishing from this problem, still
trying to win without the government’s vital aid.
We believe that our athletes can do more if only the government will
support well. And If only the youth will focus well, then we shall be able to build
more Berams. Let us show that we can still do better, if we are totally equipped.
