Proving & Applying

Trigonometric Identities
You will be doing a group project/presentation proving and
applying trigonometric identities. You will apply your
knowledge of basic trigonometric identities to prove more
complex trig identities. This presentation is worth 40 points.

 Directions:
o Use a digital tool to present your information neatly
such as Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Prezi
o Include and discuss basic trigonometric identities
o Include tips and/or tricks for proving trigonometric
identities
o Includes at least three complex examples or proofs of
trigonometric identities
o All work is shown in a step-by-step process that
allows for analyzation
o Use correct and formal mathematical language; use
complete sentences when describing a process
Read the rubric below to further guide yourselves on the criteria
of this presentation.
