    2 The enabling law for CARL is Republic Act No. 6657 which came into effect in June 1988.

    Implementation of the program was originally set for 10 years (till 1998) but extended for another 10
    years up to 2008 by Republic Act No. 8532.

    Republic Act 9700 the CARP was extend and renamed CARPER (CARP with Extension and reform)

    Bayugan has a total CARP Scope of 8,203 hectares

    Accomplished 7,913 hectares

    Balance of 290 hectares
