Points to be Remember
1. Follow OHS
2. Always Wear Anti Static Wrist Band while Handling Modules
3. Material Verification to be done when reaching to the site and Inform Nokia/TI against the shortage /Damages/Excess of Material
4. Two Modules per Plinth( FMFA)
5. Two Plinth Per FPKA
6. OVP to be install bottom side of the Module
7. OVP to be install for RF Modules
8. Modules( SM/RF/OVP) Grounding to be terminated to FMFA( Plinth)
9. FMFA( Plinth) to be Grounded to BUS Bar or Earth Strip with Clamps or Bolts and ensure the connectivity towards Earth pit.
10. Power cable to be routed inside the modules with Cable Clamps
11. Power cable to be route with the Metallic Ties
12. Antenna to be Install according to the Manufacturer Guidelines
13. Optical Cable to be routed Straight and with Cable ties( approx. 0.5Mtr Space B/w )
14. Down wards Cable Entry to be done for Modules in case of Wall and Pole.
15. Front cover of Module to be fixed with maintenance strap
16. Self Assessment to be Done after Completion of Installation
17. Do not Power On the BTS if BTS not Grounded
18. MCB Requirement :- 32 A for RF module and 16 A for System Module
19. All Unused Ports to be Sealed with IP Protected Caps( IP55)
20. Make Sure When Installing RF module ANT 1 Port comes at TOP side
21. Make Sure when Installing System Module Power Port comes at Down Side
22. Make sure Optical Cable Right Angles Connector comes downside when connecting to SM and RF module
23. Right Angles Connector type Optical Cable with IP 55 Protected Cable to be used if not supplied Inform ASAP to NOKIA

1.Remove the Tube and Tie them all
together and then only Climb the
Antenna to the Tower.

2. If The tube touched the


ROPE/Tower it will not Open in future
as it will Stuck Inside and Lock.

3.RET will not be possible if Tube is


damaged

Do’s Antenna SWAP

Note:-
1. All Sites have Antenna SWAP
2. There will be 20-30 Min of Outages in swapping Each Antenna
3. In most of the Sites Existing Feeder cable is Hanging
4. New Antenna is 2700 mm of Length and when it will be install Excess length of cable will be hanged.
5. As per the Instruction We have to Order Feeder Clamps/Connector so that Re-Connectorization can be done with in 20-30 Min .
6. And then Cable routing can be done smoothly

Do’s FSEB Installation 1/2
•Pull the left U-shaped cable gland from the FSEB.
•Remove the hole closing plug from the cable gland, if the plug is
Fixed with a cable ties, cut the cable tie first and remove it.
•Insert the cable in the cable gland. The D-sub plug must point to
The inside of the box.
•Connect the D-sub plug to the leftmost D-sub connector X1101
HORIZONTAL INSTALLATION
On the FSEB board.
•Fix the connector fixing screws.
•Insert the U-shaped cable gland to the front plate.
•Insert the cable to the round rubber seal in front of the U-shaped
Cable gland.
•Fix the cable with a cable tie. Make sure that the U-gland fixes the
Cable tightly.
•Remove the cover of the EAC connector on the System Module
VERTICAL INSTALLATION
•Insert the other end of the cable with the HDMI connector to
EAC connector of the SM ,Make sure that the HDMI connector is
Firmly in place.
•Route the cable between the FSEB and SM and fix it with cable
Ties .The first fixing point must not be further away from the
FSEB than 0.5Mtrs.

•Route the cable between the GPS and SM and fix it with cable Ties .
The first fixing point must not be further away from the GPS than 0.5Mtrs to 1Mtrs
