0 Introduction

Datum Surveying Consultants has professional, technical resources,


equipment, experience and training to undertake any type of Survey and
Mapping project expediently. Since inception in 1995 Datum has
established a strong reputation for technical expertise in the fields of
surveying and computer based applications.

Our modern survey office equipped with computer hardware and


software supporting several CAD and GIS systems, amplifies our
continuing commitment to technological development. Field data
collection by Total Stations and GPS equipment is directly linked to the
CAD facility for the production of digital databases. This highly efficient
operation has again expanded beyond its original in house function.

Our policy of providing clients a personal service has been rewarded by a


wide and diverse client base with high-level repeat commissions.

Cadastral surveys

Cadastral survey deals with measurements of land, subdivisions and


common leasehold tittles. This kind of survey can only be carried‐out by
a Licensed Land Surveyor, registered pursuant to the Land Survey Act
Cap188 of the laws of Zambia.
Our licensed surveyors can offer a broad range of expertise in such
matters as title searches, land acquisitions, property title interpretation,
assist you to determine and define land ownership and boundaries.
Cadastral surveys include:

Datum offers complete land survey services for new housing and home

Computer Aided Design

Our modern survey office equipped with computer hardware and


software supporting several CAD and GIS systems provides synergies
between Field data collection by Total Stations and GPS equipment, and
the CAD facility for the production of digital databases. Our CAD
Technicians have the capabilities and flexibility to meet clients’ needs and demands.
