Using Cable CO, CO2 sts onto LH needle, BO 8 K-wise, *move

K-wise, rep from * to end. Cut yarn and pull yarn tail into the last
st.

Regular BO
K1, *K1, pull the first st on the RH needle over the second st and
off the RH needle; rep from * to end. Cut yarn and pull the yarn
tail into the last st.

Finishing
Weave in yarn ends; trim after blocking. Soak shawl in lukewarm
water (with soap for fiber if desired) for 10-15 minutes. Rinse and
roll in towel to get rid of excess water. Pin out on a clean sheet or
blocking board. Let dry and unpin only when dry, then trim yarn
tails.
