5 The most significant learning for today that I had learned is all about the different
The most significant for the day is that k-12 curriculum focused on the development of
assesment that covers the Blooms Taxonomy.
the essential skills in inquiry, demonstration and discovery were pupils can be able to
6 conduct simple investigations. Change is constant, what pupils know today might be
archaic for the next 20 yrs.
7 How to make a rubric.
8 Expectation settings the K 12 Science curriculum framework
2 As a new science teacher, the use of concrete materials are vital in teaching this
subject so the pupil have something to observe and manipulate.
4 Be innovative and creative to suit the various tasks to the learners' interest and
abilities…. to be responsive to the needs of the learners
Given all the learnings I had in this training will equip me with the new trends of how
9 to teach the competencies in Science V under the K 12 curriculum these inspire me to
do better and try this new trends to make my pupils the 21st century learners.
10 We do different activities with regards to the topic discussed.
Trainer/Facilitator 1:
Dr. Maria Leah Q. Prondo
2 I would like to commend the speakers for being competent on imparting us the
importance of K-12 curriculum.

I. SIGNIFICANT LEARNING:
What is your most significant learning for the day?
The significant learning I had today is that the success of the teaching-learning
3 process depends on how the teacher facilitates learning and allowing the pupils to
discover, learn and explore by themselves.
4 Curious with learning
1 To make a difference as a teacher, I think all these new trends in the K-12 curriculum
must be applied in my own classroom setting.
2 Giving an interesting and exciting with learning to our pupils / learners

I. SIGNIFICANT LEARNING:
What is your most significant learning for the day?
1 Explore more strategies in order to impart the knowledge gained to the "learners"
Pupils today are more exposed in information technology a lot of hindrances outside
2 and inside of the classroom. No matter how hard the teachers tired to produce a good
product in them. Still we teachers should used more advanced strategies and
techniques to engaged the pupils to love learnings.
3 We learned how to become an innovative teacher, a 21st century teacher.
4 I learned new approaches to make teaching Science interesting.
5 I have to become fully equipped and knowledgeable for me to produce a 21st century
learners.
6 Gradually inculcate the process of learning of subject matter to the learners.
7 Being innovative/ creative in using recycable materials for making a project.
8 The management of learning
As teachers of the 21st century I should be more creative and innovative. Act in the
2 classroom more as facilitator than an ijector. Encourage pupils to get out from their
shell of "shyness" and allow them to boost their confidence for me to produce a
productive learners.
3 I will try my best to give what I can to my students in grade 5 especially in delivering
the lessons in science.
4 I need to re-equipp and re-tool myself to improve learning outcome.
Trainer/Facilitator 1:
Ms. Jo Ann Castandillo
3 There should be real objects or laptop to be used by the participants so that we can
follow more easily to the flows of discussion.
4 Very inspiring! More workshop to come!
5 We had amazing stay and seminar in Science subject
Much better if the resource person/speaker are the authors of the K-12 curriculum so
that we can understand the implementation of k-12 more clearly and ask questions to
the proper authority. The topic is more on subjective approach lack of actual materials
on some activities.
6 Everything is clear (topics) Every sessions is fit for the needs of the teacher as well as
to the learners.

Day:
I. SIGNIFICANT LEARNING:
What is your most significant learning for the day?
1 Dep-Ed Learning Resource Management Development System (LRDMS)
2 My significant learning is to do something out of recyclable materials.
3 I get acquinted with the dynamic approach of the new curriculum for grade 5
Numerous activities will make the pupils keen and witty we the teachers are
4 facilitators in the classroom, because we are confident that the group of pupils can do
their work independently, through holistic learning wherein, "Learning by doing is
enhanced and need"
1 Give more activities to do by the pupils for than to have been and at the same time to
learn and express themselces regarding on what they need.
2 I will observe full implementation of the newly learned curriculum.
Put it in acton, and make it sure whatever I've learned here in this seminar won't just
3 stay in my mind but then the impact and if possible, modify enhance it to get a fruitful
result.
The teacher in K-12 is creative and innovative. It is being pushed in this new
curriculum so asa teacher in every single lesson I am to deliver. I will see to it that I am
4
to apply my creativity to create changes in the lesson plan, in the materials and in the
execution of the lesson and ill make sure that the assessment is both reliable and
challenging.
Trainer/Facilitator 1:
Ms. Jo Ann Castandillo
4 Discussion of topic must be accompanied with hand outs and other guiding
documents.
Congratulations to the team Ms. Castandillo and Dr. Prondo, the job was done in the
5 higher excellent manner! The only problem was the "materials" that are coming from
DepEd, if it only arrive on time or as scheduled, the training will become or more
appreciated.

3 Provide other meaningful and relevant activities that would enable teachers to have
strong and lasting impression of the topic
3 Materials for the K-12 from DepEd is much needed so that teachers will be familiar to
its content! Facilitators are excellent!
