Culture Of Organization
Having a strong organizational culture is a business advantage that helps generate and
maintain top-level performance

The key to developing corporate culture, particularly one that becomes a source of
competitive advantage, requires gaining insight into how culture is formed,
including the important role that employees' attitudes and perceptions play in the
process. Ramada that take time to understand the process and develop a highly
engaged workforce can expect to see significant performance improvements. For
those that create a culture aligned with their business strategy, the rewards are
greater still: a workforce acting in unison as a dedicated powerhouse, moving the
Ramada toward its strategic goals.
Hierarchy of Organization
 The structure of organization is very sound. Complete hierarchy is followed
in every work is followed by the department and the same by employee of
the organization.

 General Manager is the leader of the house. He takes morning briefing very
day to day problems are discussed in between the department head; on daily
basis it’s very important to run the operation of hotel very smoothly.

Decision-Making Style
Decision-making is centralized and powers are concentrated in the hands of the
top management of the organization. Centralization allows on the one hand an unified decision
“from the center” on the other hand, limits the autonomy of organizational units and may reduce
flexibility of the decision.

Employee selection process

Employee Selection is the process of putting right men on right job. It is a procedure of matching
organizational requirements with the skills and qualifications of people. Effective selection can
be done only when there is effective matching. By selecting best candidate for the required job,
the organization will get quality performance of employees. Moreover, organization will face
less of absenteeism and employee turnover problems. By selecting right candidate for the
required job, organization will also save time and money. Proper screening of candidates takes
place during selection procedure. All the potential candidates who apply for the given job are
tested.

But selection must be differentiated from recruitment, though these are two phases of
employment process. Recruitment is considered to be a positive process as it motivates more of
candidates to apply for the job. It creates a pool of applicants. It is just sourcing of data. While
selection is a negative process as the inappropriate candidates are rejected here.

Csr Initiatives
Ramada Resort realizes the need for being environment-friendly and socially responsible.
Corporate social responsibility is a form of corporate self-regulation integrated into a business
model. CSR policy functions as a self-regulatory mechanism whereby a business monitors and
ensures its active compliance with the spirit of the law, ethical standards and national or
international norms. With some models, a firm's implementation of CSR goes beyond
compliance and statutory requirements, which engages in "actions that appear to further some
social good, beyond the interests of the firm and that which is required by law". CSR is titled to
aid an organization's mission as well as serve as a guide to what the company represents for its
consumers. Business ethics is the part of applied ethics that examines ethical principles and
moral or ethical problems that can arise in a business environment. ISO 26000 is the recognized
international standard for CSR. It is widely accepted that CSR adheres to similar principles, but
with no formal act of legislation. The number of organizations, businesses and people that are
striving for sustainability and more eco-friendly lifestyles is increasing. Ramada Resort is
committed to reduce their impact on the environment with their CSR initiatives.
