A. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting The teacher will present pictures of paintings of the impressionist painter
the new lesson Claude Monet, Wassily, and Vincent Van Gogh. Let the students react or say
something about the pictures. (10 minutes)
B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson The teacher will play music by Claude Debussy or any music in the
impressionism period.
The teacher will ask: What can you say about the music? How will you describe
the emotion of the composer? What mood does the composer is trying to
portray? How will you relate the personality the painter with that of the
musical composers?
