Results Evaluation (Criterion C)

Answer the questions below with clear scientific vocabulary and explanation.

1. Take another look at Entry Log 4, ‘section III. Variables’. This is where you wrote the
hypothesis for that experiment. Discuss the validity of your prediction based on the results of
your experiment. (Did your prediction and scientific understanding match the outcome/results of
the experiment? And why?)

We change the number of magnets because we want to improve the electricity that we
produced before, we did the experiment and we got data, we can show the new improve
increase almost double the electricity that we produced before. Before we produced 20
current in mAmps and the new one created 35 current in amps. Through this result we can
understand when we add more magnets inside the coil, it gonna produce more electricity.

2. Now check Entry Log 4, ‘section IV. Sketch and explain’, this corresponds to the method (how
to manipulate the variables, and how data will be collected), state at least one thing in the
method that reduced the accuracy or the reliability of the experiment.

First, we used the AC to determine the electric current and the current is not stable, because
when you spin the generator the magnets close and open so it was not very stable. So when
we test it, the needles are like uppon and down, we can’t measure how much is produced. It
affects reliability, because it always works but not always accurate.

3. Now reflect on questions 2 and 3. Suggest changes in the method that can improve the
accuracy or the reliability of each one of the experiments. (How could you improve your method
next time?)

Next time we can use the table can calm and it can stable the electric current, when we test it
with the electric table, it produces electricity is more stable than before. And it can produce
higher accuracy and more reliability.
