The Founding Team

Elitsa Georgieva
• Degree in business administration, focus on development economics, banking and finance
• Professional background in financial analysis, lending methodologies and procedures,
management of large-scale projects affairs. Experience with MFIs since April 2006
• Expertise in management of banking services units with focus on lending technology, credit
risk policies and structures, portfolio quality, SME operations, training and coaching
• Languages: Bulgarian, German, Spanish, English, Russian

Mariano Larena
• Degree in Law and member of the Madrid Chamber of Lawyers, over 20 years of
experience working with financial institutions
• Professional background in senior management, customer relationship management,
trade finance, risk management and internal audit. Experience with MFIs since Oct.2003
• Expertise in corporate governance, supporting and monitoring management and business
development, institution establishing and strengthening, training and coaching
• Languages: Spanish, German, English

Our approach

• Coaching of the concerned managers, participation in their recruitment,
