Single Slide Projector

Projector

 A projector is an instrument used to produce a large image of a small object. The slide, or film, is
placed behind the projector lens outside its focal length and is illuminated but a small but
powerful source of light.

 The amount of light from the source actually going through the transparent slide or film is
increased by using convex lens or Magnifying Glass.

 Single slide projectors have only one holder slot that is built into a compact case, which contains
the bulb and lenses. These projectors can project only one slide at a time. Each time the slide needs
to be removed and loaded manually.
A slide projector is a device used to view photographic slides. It consists of the following main parts:

 Light source
 A holder that supports the slide
 A focusing lens

The lens used is convex lens. Convex lens can form an erect, enlarged and virtual image of an object when an object
is placed at its focus. So it is used in magnifying glass and in simple microscope where we need to see the object enlarged
than its normal size , When light passes through it, we get an image on screen larger in size compared to
the size of the object.
