Posebna sigurnosna pravila za korištenje čekića

Special Safety Rules for the Use ofHammers
a) Nosite zaštitne naočale i zaštitne rukavice.
a) Wear safety glasses and safety gloves!
b) Koristite čekić samo u predviđene svrhe (u skladu sa namjenom).
b) Use the hammer only for its intended purpose!
c) Ne koristite čekić kao polugu.
c) Never misuse the hammer as a lever!
d) Prije početka posla provjerite je li glava čekića sigurno pričvršćena na dršci!
d) Before starting work, check that the hammer head is securely attached to the shaft!

Ravni klin ne pruža silu stezanja u pravcu kretanja.

No clamping force in the direction of motion thanks to the flat wedge.

Konusni prstenasti klin ravnomjerno raspoređuje silu stezanja na 360 ° tj. i u smjeru
kretanja. Struktura drvenih vlakana nije uništena. Nema slabljenja glave čekića, čak i
nakon nekoliko stotina udaraca.
The tapered collar evenly distributes the clamping force across 360° i.e. also in the
direction of motion. The wood fibre structure is not ruined. There is no slackening of the
hammer head even after several hundred strikes.

e) Select the appropriate type and size of hammer for the work to be carried out!
f) Nikada ne udarajte dva čekića jedan o drugi (opasnost od rasprsnuća)!
f) Never hit two hammers together(burst risks)!

g) Nikada ne koristite čelične čekiće na radnim predmetima koji su tvrđi od vašeg čekića
(tvrđi od 46 HRC)! Za ove slučajeve primjene koristite plastične čekiće. U slučaju
nedoumice, bolji izbor je odgovarajući plastični čekić.
g) Never use steel hammers on workpiecesharderthan your hammer(harder than 46 HRC)!
Use suitable plastic-faced hammers for this! In case of doubt, the healthier choice is a
suitable plastic-faced hammer.
Blue hammer head / soft: e.g.
for furniture work and interior
decorating, minor assembly.
Black hammer head / medium
soft: e.g. for paving, tiling, dry
wall construction.
Yellow hammer head /
medium-hard: e.g. for tool and
machine engineering, car
repairs, sheet metal and
assembly work.
Orange hammer head / hard:
e.g. for assembly and
dismantling work, building and
construction work, repair work.
White hammer head / very
hard: e.g. for building and
construction, mould
construction, road construction,
gardening and landscaping.
h) Izbjegavajte udarce sa odskakanjem (odbijanjem)!
h) Avoid bouncing blows!
i) Koristite isključivo radne površine čekića, ali ne i bočne površine! Udarci bočnim
površinama oštećuju nekaljenu rupu čekića. Ovo može oslabiti dosjed drške u glavi
čekića.
i) Use only the work faces of the hammer! Blows with the side face damage the non-
hardened hammer eye. This can loosen the grip of the shaft in the hammer head.
j) Ako na udarnim površinama (glavi i šiljku) nastaju „brkovi“ moraju se odmah stručno
ukloniti. U suprotnom kod daljnjeg korištenja prijeti odlamanje komada.

j) If a burr forms on the pein1 or face of the hammer head, this must be immediately
removed. Failure to do this can pose the risk of splintering when the hammer is in use.
k) Držite čvrsto dršku čekića što je moguće dalje od glave čekića! Tako poboljšavate
udarno djelovanje i sprječavate vibracije.
k) Grip the hammer shaft as far away from the hammer head as possible! This improves
the impact effect and avoids vibrations.

l) Ne držite čekiće sa drvenom drškom u toplim i suhim sredinama! Drvo je prirodni

proizvod.Ono onda izgubi vlagu i skuplja se, tako da drška više nije čvrsto stegnuta u
glavi čekića.Suprotni uvjeti skladištenja također imaju negativno djelovanje na drvenu
dršku. Ne držite drvene drške u suviše vlažnim uvjetima! Previše vlage uzrokuje da
drvene drške nabubre i oštećuje drvena vlakna. Drvena drška se tako može slomiti iza
područja rupe !
l) Do not store hammers with wooden shafts in warm, dry environments! Wood is a
natural product. Dry, warm storage conditions cause the shaft to lose moisture and
shrink, so that the hammer shaft is no longer a tight fit in the hammer head. Opposite
storage conditions also have a negative effect on the wooden shaft. Do not store the
wooden shaft in too damp conditions! Too much moisture causes the wooden shaft to
swell up and damages the wooden fibres. This can result in the wooden shaft snapping
behind the eye area.

m) Koristite samo odobrene neiskreće čekiće za rad u eksplozivno-opasnim područjima!
m) Use only approved non-sparking hammers for work in explosion-hazard areas!
n) Koristite samo odgovarajuće zamjenske drške i klinove.
