LESSON OUTLINE:

A. Activity:
Teacher’s Activity Learners’ Activity

Good morning class! Good morning ma’am!

This morning we will have a game which we


will be called “Find Me a Partner”. I will
divide the class into four groups. You will
select your own leader who will lead you all
throughout the game. Each group will be
given set of pictures and words in which you
will be matching through analyzing its
connections to each other. Do you Yes mam! (The students grouped themselves in
understand? four groups and chose their leaders).

The set of pictures are the depictions of the set


of words related to the different types of art
forms in the region. Paste the pictures at the
most left side and put beside it the word/s that
defines it. The first group which will finish
matching the picture to the correct concept it

Today we will be talking about the different art
forms in the Philippines.

To further understand and have a deep


understanding about contemporary arts. I will
present a short video clips on contemporary
Philippine arts.

Questions for class discussion:

1. What are the different types of arts?


2. Who among you here knows an artist in
the region which has a contribution to
contemporary arts?
3. Can you identify different types of
artwork in the region?
4. What are some of the elements and
principles of these arts being applied to the
identified

C. Application:
On the same groupings, the teacher will
conduct another learning activity which will
be called “Classify Me to Where Should I
Belong”.

Each group will simply classify contemporary


art forms to the right art form it belongs.
Every group member has the opportunity to
classify the artworks identified in the video
and match it to the right art forms. The group
that has more identified artworks with correct
note what type of art it signifies will be
declared as winner. (15 minutes)
