English 1: Complete the worksheet given on comprehension and write a proposal writing and theatre review.
1. Proposal Writing: As the Head of the Students’ Wing of RWA of your colony, you have been given the
responsibility of guiding the children of your colony and undertaking the cleanliness drive in your colony
on the occasion of World Earth Day. Write a proposal in about 150 words stating the steps you would take
to effectively organise the cleanliness drive.

2. Theatre Review: Write a review of a theatrical production that you have recently watched. Use the
following given points:
Name of the production-theme-lighting-stage set up-music-costumes-performance of the actors-if any
social message—reaction of the audience.
English 2 : Write the answers of Extract 1 and 2 of Act 3 of the workbook of ‘Candida’.
Write the answers of the following questions:
Q.1) Who was B. Wordsworth? Was he a real poet or a confident trickster? Q.2) Bring out the conflict between
religion and science in context of Matthew Arnold’s ‘Dover Beach’ (Answers are to be done in English
Literature copy).
Maths : Learn and write all trigonometrical formulas from Class 11 Mathematics book and the formulas from
the chapter ‘Inverse trigonometric function.’

Biology : Do as directed: Students have been given an individual topic for their project and they will collect
materials for the same.

Physics : Revise the following chapters and write the answer of the questions in the Physics copy:

1. State two limitations of Coulomb’s law.
2. An electric dipole is placed in a uniform external electric field E. Show that the torque on the dipole is
given by τ = P x E.
3. A spherical conducting shell of inner radius r and outer radius R has a charge Q. A charge q is placed
at the centre of the shell. Compute surface charge densities on the inner and outer surfaces of the shell.
4. What is the potential energy of a dipole of moment ‘p’ when it is perpendicular to a uniform electric
field.
5. The electrostatic force of repulsion between two positively charged ions carrying equal charges = 3.7 x
10-9N when they are separated by a distance of 5 Å. How many electrons are missing from each ion?

Chemistry : Boys will complete their projects on the topics assigned to their serial numbers.
Accounts : Solve sum nos. 48 and 50 of ‘Partnership – Fundamental’ and sum nos. 75 and 100 of
‘Admission’ (New edition, T.S. Grewal).
Commerce : Complete the project : Visit a Commercial Bank. Find out the procedure to open a Savings
Account. Find out the details of various agency and general utility services provided by the bank.

Economics : Complete any two projects from the following:

PROJECT 1- Study a public sector enterprise with reference to its relevance to the Indian economy and its
future prospects. Analyse the trend of its growth for the last ten years.

PROJECT 2- Make a comparative study of the allocation of financial resource of the central government
budget on agriculture, defence, industry and education for the last ten years. Prepare a report on your
observations.

PROJECT 3- Prepare a report on the competition in the aviation sector in India with reference to:
a) Performance of the public sector and the private sector.
b) Operational strategies adopted by budget or low-cost carriers.
PROJECT 4 - Prepare a trend analysis of growth and productivity of any one industry such as textile,
automobiles, electronic and telecommunication, etc. in India for the past ten years.

Business Studies : Complete the Project: Make a comparative study of any two e-business in terms of their
nature, size, production and services offered, Functioning and Policies.

Computer : Complete the worksheet given in class.
