Tell me about yourself

Well, my self Mohammed Munawwar Bagali I am from Vijaypura I completed my most of education
there only, after completing my SSLC from IQRA school bijapur I joined diploma in civil engg in GPT
bijapur and now I am here in prestigious college RVCE , I got distinction in all semesters . One of the
greatest achievement for me as a leader is I was the organiser of concrete fair 2017 ( a national level
technical fest held by RVCE every year ) and I managed it quiet well without any conflict. Come to my
hobbies I practice meditation twice a day , I like playing cricket very much and I love travelling .

Why do you want to work in our company

Bcz brigade is the perfect platform for me to show and improve my technical skills and I am sure I
will give my 100% for every project to help the organisation to achieve it’s goals. Like I cant ask
anything more like for the civil engineer this is the best flatform.

Tell me about your project

• We are doing project on making masonry economical using rat trap bond without
compromising the strength Rat trap bond was introduced by architect Laurie Baker in Kerala
in 1970’s.

in that we are placing the bricks such a way that the cavity is created that cavity may be left as it is or
reinforcement is provided in that cavity to improve the tensile strength of masonry.

Diploma

We have done the comparison of strength of hollow blocks with solid blocks , we have tested the
strength of hollow block on different different cavity such as 25% 50% 75% it is obvious that if
surface area is less then the strength also is less but for the some particular cavity if we increase the
height of the block let say for 1.5 times the solid blocks the difference between the strength if
reduced considerably

Survey on bricks

We have also done the survey on strength of bricks on different sources around country our project
guide somnath sir has been doing this survey from 2014 and he collected the data from the different
source and we have done the survey on South indian bricks and in the end we combined both of
them.

Ultra tech

It was 4 days event on first 3 days they took us to the construction site and allowed us to talk with
the workers working there and they also showed the different stages of construction and on the 4th
day we have to give presentation on what you have learned in past 3 days.

Brigade panorama

It was a site visit to brigade panorama construction on the mysore road it was G+19, there was 6
phases of construction 2 of them haven’t started yet and 2 of them were at the stage of foundation
level we have seen many things like shuttering , scaffolding , different reinforcement etc .one thing
that was new for me is there was separate foundation for lift they were using total station for the
position of piles and important components . they were doing dewatering work bcz the 2 days
before rainfall has occurred , they covered the foundation with polythien

ACC RMC

It is situated near mysore road only, there was 3 storing section two of them for aggregates of size
20mm down and 12mm down and one for Msand , the speed of the conveyer belt is adjusted in such
way that the aggregates should not fell during conveyance there were two silos on containing
Ordinary Portland cement and one containing fly ash , there was also a treatment plant to test the
potability of water.

Yelhanka waste water treatment plant

It is situated in yelhanka , the capacity of the treatment plant is 10 mld first there was a screening
and after that grit chamber followed by sedimentation tank and sedimentation with coagulation ,
aeration and rapid sand filters and at last chlorination after chlorination there wasn’t any turbidity in
the water but the water was not fit for drinking so that water is supplied for the maintenance of
airport.
