Description
What help learning most.
Being able to meet with the instructor and just have it as an option. (Nonthreatening)
Crappy first draft, plus she always helps you understand even the smallest concept and any struggle you had she gave clear instructions on how to
overcome them.
Having a complete syllabus helped because I could refer back to it for clarification on assignments.
I liked the inclass writing time to write the crappy first draft.
Our workshop groups.
Peer reviews helped me a lot. Also the oral presentations.
Receiving feedback on my writing.
She wrote extensive feedback on all our papers, which helped me tremendously as a writer.
The essay outlines.
The groups we had
The schedule was always posted and I really appreciated the outlines we were given for papers.
Suggestions for improvement.
An assignment to peer review papers. We peer reviewed in our groups, but it was sometimes rushed. I need more eyes to look at my paper other than
myself. Easier grading from the professor would be great too, tough course.
Be more clear on the description of each assignment. Don't grade so harsh on males.
Give us more time to complete writing assignments. they felt all very rushed and I struggled.
I was intimidated at first by here, but later I realized she is very workable and helpful. Maybe letting students see that side more readily at the beginning.
I wish it was based more on improvement than anything because I worked so hard in this course and I still don't know if I will be getting a good grade.
But I have worked harder in this course than any other in all my education.
It was good.
Maybe give people 100% sometimes :)
More understanding of students not being able to attend class (less attendance points).
None that I can think of.
None.
Nothing, she was fantastic.
