Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Television, newspaper, magazines,
and other media pay too much attention to the personal lives of famous people such as public
figures and celebrities. Use specific reasons and details to explain your opinion.

The statement highlights the debate concerning whether I agree or disagree about the high
attention that different types of media gives to famous folks. I would agree that that media pays
a big attention to the personal life of celebrities and figures; that is a valuable position for several
reasons, which I hope to explain in detail throughout the development of this essay.

The first reason is related to the time and space that media uses for talking about figures. In the
case of television exists complete programs or section of programs, which are dedicated to
gossip about actors, sport players and other famous folks. By other hand, it also happens in some
sections of newspaper, magazines, etc. A curious fact is the moment where those tv shows are
presented, usually at the prime time. That is a signal about the importance that normal people
gives to the life of celebrities life, and the profits that media perceives of that situation.
Therefore, it is clear that celebrities’ problems and lifestyle will always be a point of attention
for most people.

Another key reason that supports my point of view, is the way photographers search for taking
photos to famous people. In that sense, in many occasions photographers make them feel

places, they normally stay. To put it in another way, if photographers would not press celebrities, preposicion
then famous people will would feel calm and relax, when they go out to do normal stuffs.
Therefore, it is evident that exist a big necessity of media, for looking pictures and information
about figures.

As a final argument, I wish to note payments from media to celebrities for their information.

with paid interviews. With regard to this theme, another position may claim that media pays

There may be different points of view on this issue, but for me, taking into account what has
been outlined, it can be concluded that media gets incomes from information related with
celebretiescelebrities. Therefore, they pat pay especial attention to them.
