“Secret Beach is a pristine piece of sand hidden

from sight by large limestone cliffs on all sides.
Once inside it feels like you are the only people
on the planet. Secret beach is one of the best
things to see in El Nido hands down. A trip to
Secret Beach is accessible on El Nido tour, book
online here for only US$45 with Viator.”

Secret Beach El, Nido Palawan

“This island is another great example of the

beauty of El Nido. What makes Snake Island so
special isn’t necessarily the island itself, but the
strip of sand leading up to it. When the tides are
right snake island has a thin strip of sand
wiggling its way through the bay, pointing right
at Snake Island. Snake Island is the top thing to
do on the El Nido Tour B day trip.”

Coron, Palawan Philippines

Feeling excited? We are up to our 3rd BEAUTIFUL province of Palawan. Welcome to CORON!

TOP 5 THINGS TO DO IN CORON:

1. Visit Calauit – Coron’s very own SAFARI Park - Calauit Safari Park is a game reserve and wildlife sanctuary located in
Calauit Island, a 3,700 hectare island in the Calamian Islands chain that lies off the coast of Palawan in the MIMAROPA region
of the Philippines. It is known for its wildlife sanctuary with a substantial population of African animals, including giraffes,
zebras, and antelopes, as well as local fauna that all roam freely in a game reserve created in the 1970s.

“You don’t have to dream of an African tour

to witness the wildlife it offers. Just book a
flight to Coron, Palawan and presto! You
have your piece of African safari, ready and
within your reach. A little background:
During the Marcos era, a park was set up
through a presidential decree to shelter
zebras, giraffes, and six species of antelopes
that were all imported from Kenya.”

2. SNORKELING ACTIVITIES – Vacation on an Island is nothing without some snorkeling activities.

Just like the rest of Palawan Island, Coron, has its

own share of underwater treasure- magnificent
coral formation and marine life forms.

Diving tips: Perfect coral gardens can be found in

Lusong, Atuayan, and Decalve Marine Park. The
most famous is the Siete Pecados Reef, covered
by a variety of corals from staghorn to gorgonia
fans.
Coron, Palawan In 2007, Forbes Traveler
Magazine named Coron’s shipwrecks as one
of the 10 Best Scuba Diving sites in the World.
Magnificent coral formations, abundant
marine life forms, and fascinating ship wrecks
– these are the wonderful scenery awaiting
travelers under the waters of Coron. History:
During the World War II, several Japanese
vessels were doomed to sink under Coron
waters by the US Navy Force.

THE FAMOUS WRECK-DIVING, WORLD RENOWNED

3. LAKE AND LAGOON HOPPING –Just like the other 2 provinces in Palawan, you may also want to try Coron’s
Lagoons and Lakes.
4. TREKKING TO MT. TAPYAS – Care to go hiking? Coron has the perfect spot. Welcome to Mt. Tapyas!

IT IS THE SECOND TALLEST PEAK IN CORON AND IS A POPULAR

FIRST STOP BECAUSE OF ITS ACCESSIBILITY. MT. TAPYAS MAY BE
REACHED ON FOOT FROM THE CITY CENTER. AT 210 METERS, IT IS
A DOMINANT NATURAL STRUCTURE, TOWERING OVER THE TOWN.
IT’S AN EASY CLIMB; A CONCRETE STAIRCASE LEADS TO THE
SUMMIT. THERE ARE PLENTY OF COVERED “REST STOPS” ALONG
THE WAY SO IF YOU HAVE THE TIME, IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THAT
DIFFICULT. IF YOU COULD, GO IN THE LATE AFTERNOON AND
CATCH THE MOST BREATHTAKING VIEW OF THE ISLANDS DURING
SUNSET.
