The believers, both men and women, are allies of one another. They enjoin good, forbid evil,
establish Prayer, pray Salah, obey Allah and His Messenger. Surely Allah will show mercy to
them. Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. ( Al Quran 9:71)

: Narrated Haritha bin Wahab: I heard the Prophet saying, "O People! Give in charity as a time
will come upon you when a person will wander about with his object of charity and will not find
anybody to accept it, and one (who will be requested to take it) will say, "If you had brought it
yesterday, would have taken it, but today I am not in need of it."

Dear Sister/Brother,

Assalamu allaikum wa rahmathullahi wa barakathuhu

All praise is due to Allah the most High. We thank and glorify Allah azzawajal for showering us
with his immense blessings and giving us an opportunity to witness yet another Ramadan. It
gives me and our managing committee immense pleasure to greet you and your families
through this letter.

In the last year we have been a witness to political turmoil, wars, increasing number of hate
crimes, etc. It is obligatory on the society (Fard Kifayah) to provide the basic necessities to the
homeless and the helpless people. This is where charitable organizations step in to alleviate the
hardships faced by those who are suffering. The Hidayah welfare trust for women, Managadu,
Chennai, has been providing a safe haven and education to a section of less fortunate girls (and
women) in the society for the last eighteen years, by the grace of Allah.

About Us

The Hidayah Welfare Trust for Women situated in Mangadu is in a position to house about
30-35 candidates. We have a highly qualified fulltime Ustaza who stays with the children and
nurtures them with good aklaq. Along with the ustaz, we also have 3 visiting teachers and two
fulltime non- teaching staff.

Students stay at our hostel and complete Deeniyat courses of 3 months, one year and three
years duration as per their ability. They also receive the regular academic education based on
the Tamil Nadu syllabus. We have developed facilities for the children to take up their 10th and
12th exams through the open schooling system provided by the NIOS.

Our Welfare Activities

1. In the month of August '17, we invited Mrs. Vasantha Kumari, a reputed member of the
society who addressed the children and educated them on the history behind our freedom
struggle as well as the seerah of our beloved Prophet (pbuh).

2. In the month of December '17, we had students from Bays International and MWA who visited
the Trust and spent time with the children wherein we conducted some interactive games and
some educational activities to benefit the children.

3. In the month of January '18, we conducted a tazkhiya workshop for the children with lectures
and some fun filled activities in order to learn from the life of Prophet Yusuf (pbuh).

4. The children of the Trust were taken on an education tour to a farmhouse at guduvancherry in
the month of February '18.

5. Janaza shrouding workshop by Ibadah welfare trust was conducted in the month of February
18.

5. Scholarships are given to students doing professional courses, students of science and arts
college and school students as well.

6. The Hidayah Trust has stood by families who required medical assistance - especially for
investigations and treatment of minor ailments and women requiring hysterectomies and
cataract surgeries.

7. The Hidayah Trust has also conducted marriages for a few less priveledged women.

May Allah azzawajal accept and reward all those who support this organization through their
selfless service and financial support. Aameen.
