Executive Summary
Style fixx is a subscription-based brand that specializes in delivering

customized clothes professionally designed by fashion experts. Our brand’s primary

objective is to satisfy our customer’s needs by exceeding expectations and providing

professionally designed clothing at affordable prices. This objective allows our

customer base to be exponentially larger than our competitors. The brand

headquarters is nestled in the booming city of Sandy, Utah which is known as “The

heart of the Wasatch”. Style fixx’s code of ethics consists of three essential

principles that drive our brand to success. These three principles consist of the

following:

1. Excellent Customer Service- Our guest service specialists are competent in

product knowledge, crisis management, and problem-solving techniques.

2. Proactivity- To help achieve our primary objective, we hire employees

who take initiative in every situation in order to guarantee positive guest

experiences and reviews.

3. Innovation- Style fixx is centered around the principle of constant change

and improvement to ensure our products exceed expectations and create

positive impressions on both first time buyers and return customers.

The mission of our company is to “Provide professionally designed clothing at

affordable prices”. We complete this mission by following our core values. Our

delivery service helps ensure high customer return rates through the subscription

services we provide alongside it. These services help us reach out to potential

customers and help bring about brand awareness.

Background
In February 2019, Samantha Julien was shopping for clothes when she

suddenly had an epiphany: “Why does no one ship custom-made clothing to my

house?” This was the leading question that led to the creation of Style fixx. However,

there was one major issue, Samantha had very little experience with running a

business and needed the help of her colleagues. To solve this problem, Samantha

called upon all her peers to see who could help her out on her journey. Finally, after

three long week, Chase Pattee and Brynley Olsen answered the call to action.

We are dedicated to our customer’s experience with our products which is why our

team dedicates all our time and resources to five key area of excellence. These areas

include: Price, Convenience, Customization, and Design, and Accessibility. Here is a

more detailed explanation of what each area of excellence involves and what we do

to ensure our customers are satisfied with their experience.

 Price
 The main thing our customers are looking for in our industry is

pricing that is not only reasonable but affordable. Style fixx is

determined to gain the best profit margins possible for our products to

help ensure we are able to not only deliver quality products to our

customers, but provide excellent

services that will help our

company grow and improve the

overall customer experience.

 Customization

 One thing all clothing stores have in common is that they all only offer

pre-made clothes that, in most cases, don’t look very unique. However,

Style fixx is offering services in which you can design your own

clothing so you can wear you want, how you want. On top of this

unique service, Style fixx also offers an online configurator where you

can see what certain clothes look like on you. To top it all off, we also

offer stylists who you can contact anytime you would like to help

ensure an amazing customer experience.

 Convenience

 The main advantage Style fixx has over the competition is the easily

accessible website and its convenient features. On our website, the

clothing configuration feature makes designed your dream outfit simple

and fun at the same time. This simple yet creative tool helps fuel our

company past the competition. Another advantage Style fixx has over

the competition is same-day delivery services. This service provides

our customers with higher expectations for high quality products and

substantially increases customer retention. These two amazing products

and services push Style fixx above the competition.

 Design

 With many different body types and styles, it can be difficult to measure

most persons’ bodies without being there. However, if the customer was

asked their measurements, than you avoid technical irregularity that can

be found in measuring apps. Not to mention, most measuring would be

measuring waists, busts, hips, etc., so most of your measurements would

be circumferential.

 Accessibility

 Nobody ever goes to get themselves tailored clothing unless they don’t

have the average body, or they just have the money to do that. Not to

mention, it is sort of invasive, and you have to uncomfortably stand for

long periods of time. With a website where you could get clothes that

would fit you perfectly delivered straight to your door without the hassle

of finding out that style does not look as good as it did in your head.

 Customer Segment

Our company, Style fixx, focuses on reaching a diversified customer segment.

With our product, creating custom clothing for consumers, we strive to reach all ages,

regardless of gender. Because of the difficulty to reach everyone, we plan on selling

to mothers specifically because of the position they are in, not having much free time

to shop and treat themselves. In addition, because of the customization that we have

access to, it will help us reach out to all body shapes and sizes. It is difficult for tall,

petite, overweight, etc. to find clothing that they like and that fit their body the way

how they want. With our company, it is a goal to be able to cater to all people’s needs

and reach out to a variety of customers. We plan to tailor each clothing box to the

customer and make their experience personal.

 Channel Block

We plan on communicating with our customers in a direct way. Because of

how our company will work, we will sale directly from us to the consumer,

eliminating a third party. Stitch Fix will be an online-only company out of

convenience and accessibility. To raise awareness for our brand, we will emphasize

marketing, especially through social media and other common sites. Our goal is to

get our company out there through word of mouth and advertisements. We want

customers to have a positive experience with us, and so at the end of every delivery,

an email will be sent asking for an evaluation on the product and whether or not they

are satisfied. Our post-purchase customer support is especially important with Stitch

Fix as we give customers the opportunity to return what they do not like in exchange

for their money back or new products. To make the delivery special for each

customer and to make them hopefully like the product more, we plan on having a

subscription box which will come visually appealing and out of recycled goods.

Purchases and returns will happen through our website, which is the foundation for

our company’s presence.

 Key Activities:
 Production: Because everything is made specific to you, the quality of the

product is more valued than the quantity of the outfits made. In production, you

would not need designers, because the customer gives you the design. Really, you

would need to hire product designers to design how you present that product to

your customer.

 Problem Solving: When it comes to customer service, we would provide a FAQ

page, human customer service representatives, timely responses, knowledgeable

representatives, and to emphasize how important care is when doing their job.

Some ways we could improve customer service is to have dual response and multi-

tasking, where you can take a call over the phone as well as do online typing

service.

 Platform: Target customers would be young mothers as well as people who do

not have the average body type. It can really hard for very tall or overweight

people to find clothes that they can fit and feel good in. Networking with

companies such as Instagram make it easy for that target customer to have easy

access to our website, as well as advertisement through other clothing stores as

well as Google ads.

Market Evolution
Some ways that a company could evolve and grow is by using technology as it

becomes more advanced, such as starting to use faster delivery. We already are

starting to see that people are starting to prefer websites over stores. Another thing

that would be to expect is that there would be an increase in competition. Online

tailored clothing really doesn’t have any competition right now, and giving out what

current businesses can’t right now is the best way to stay ahead of the competition

because it gives your customers things that they didn’t have before. If given the

chance, you could also start doing drone

delivery services. That way people could

get their packages that day rather than in a

couple days or even a couple weeks.

Company Strengths
As with all companies, we have our strengths and weaknesses. There are two

main things however that separates our company from the competition:

personalization and customization.

Personalization
Style fixx’s key asset is our ability to offer a unique customer experience in

which the customer can configure the outfit of their dreams in a realistic 3D

configuration model on our website.

 One of our goals is to continually enhance our customer experience by

surveying 500 diverse customers on what they like about our systems

and what they think we can improve every three months in order to

ensure our systems are up-to-date and that we are reaching our peak

performance.

 Another one of our goals is to constantly update our online 3D

configuration model to be in line with the current trends and our current

inventory. We will achieve this by researching current trends and

working with our professional designers to ensure our customers are

getting the best product possible.

Company Weaknesses:
On the opposite end of the spectrum, our company has weaknesses which we

can overcome with market research. There are two main things that we have

identified need improvement and can be easily changed: pricing and limited

marketing.

Pricing
The main issue among all E-commerce companies is getting high profit

margins. This is mainly because manufacturers make more money distributing their

products to wholesalers than to online retailers such as Style fixx. Our company

conquers this issue by building strong relationships with manufacturers that are

locally owned and operated in order to improve quality control and increase profit

margins.

 One goal our company wishes to achieve in order to turn this weakness

into a strength is to contact three new manufacturers each quarter in

order to find the best partnerships possible and provide our customers

with high-quality products that exceed their expectations.

 Another goal our company wishes to achieve in order to turn this

weakness into a strength is by reaching out to different industries across

the nation and around the world in order to increase our chances of

gaining higher profit margins. Our company will combine our resources and

expertise in order to achieve this goal. We know this will not only increase our

overall global presence, but it will also increase our market share as well.

Limited Marketing
Our only marketing strategy at the moment in online retailing which limits our

exposure to new customers. Though on the opposite end of the spectrum, with Style

fixx being a subscription based delivery service, it would seem odd for us to be

present in physical stores.

 One goal our company wishes to achieve in order to turn this weakness

into a strength is to spend 4 hours/ week researching marketing

strategies with our marketing team to discover new ways to spread brand

awareness. With this goal in mind, we look forward to what the future

holds for the future leaders of our brand.

 Another goal our company wishes to achieve in order to turn this

weakness into a strength is to open five physical stores after being on

the market for a period of two years. With this goal in mind, we have

our sights set on the future of our company as it grows from a small

local brand into a globally operated industry giant.

Summary
Style fixx is in an industry that has only just recently started to emerge and we

are excited to see what the future holds, the main question we would like to ask is,

“Will you be a part of our future?” As our background describes, our brand started as

just a simple thought in the mind of a young entrepreneur with aspirations to make

this world a better place. The market in which we stand is constantly evolving and we

will evolve with it to ensure customer satisfaction with the way we show our brand.

Our company’s strengths and weaknesses show just how well equipped we are for

any setback that may come upon us. We are dedicated to our customer’s experience

and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our customer base is expanding and

improving. As we research new ways to market our products and services, we are

always on the lookout for new opportunities for new partnerships and manufacturers

in order to help our brand awareness and profitability.
