Qualification & Experience-

1. Professor:
As Reader/ Associate Professor in the subject for three years in a recognized Post Graduate
Medical College in concerned specialty. (minimum 10 years teaching experience after
completion of postgraduation).
Publications : Minimum of four Research Publications indexed in Pub Med, Excerpta
Medica or Embased Medicas or Index Medicus or Index Copernicus or Scopus or Medline
Journals two accepted/ published during period as Associate Professor

2. Associate Professor:
As Assistant Professor in the subject for four years in a recognized Post Graduate Medical
College in concerned specialty. (minimum 7 years teaching experience after completion of
postgraduation)
Publications : Minimum of two Research Publications indexed in Pub Med, Excerpta
Medica or Embased Medicas or Index Medicus or Index Copernicus or Scopus or Medline
Journals , accepted/ published during period as Assistant Professor

3. Assistant Professor:
Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College
as Senior Resident/ Registrar/ Lecturer/ Demonstrator/ Tutor or equivalent or higher teaching
faculty posts after post graduation in the concerned specialty. The Candidates who have done
super-speciality (DM/M.Ch) in concerned speciality shall be directly eligible for post
Assistant Professor

4. Senior Resident /Senior Tutor

a recognized post graduate degree from a statutory university with 3 years experience of
residency in the concerned specialty or
ii) a recognized postgraduate diploma from a statutory university in the concerned specialty
with 2 years experience of residency in the concerned specialty and 1 year residency
experience in the concerned specialty obtained after acquiring the PG diploma or
A graduate doctor with recognized MBBS degree and registered in IMR who has got 3
(three) years experience as a resident doctor in the concerned specialty

5. Junior Resident

MBBS degree from a institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.

6.Antenatal MO- cum- Lecturer/Assistant Professor

MD/MS (OBG) or an equivalent qualification as recognized by Medical Council of India.

MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.

7. MCWO- Cum Lecturer/Assistant Professor

MD/MS (OBG) or an equivalent qualification as recognized by Medical Council of India.

MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.

8. Emergency Medical Officer

MBBS degree from a institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.

9. Medical Superintendent

Post Graduation from a recognized Medical Institution and having 5 years

experience as Professor. Preference will be given to the candidate from
clinical department and having Army background.

10. Medical Officer Dental

BDS Degree from an institution recognized by Dental Council of India .

11. Medical Record Officer

1. Bachelor's Degree preferable of Science from recognized University or

equivalent.

12. Director (For ACI, BFUHS, Bathinda)

1. MD (Radiotherapy) from a recognized institution by Medical Council of

India.

2. Professor with minimum 05 years teaching experience alongwith headship

of a Medical College/Department.

3. Professor (Retd) in the relevant field shall be preferred.

13. Associate Professor (Physiotherapy)

Master's degree in any branch of Physiotherapy (MPT/MSPT) from a recognized

University/Institution as a full time regular candidate after basic qualification BPT

05 years teaching experience out of which minimum 03 years should be after post
graduation.

General terms and conditions:

1. The applicant must enclose demand draft of Non-refundable in favour of The

Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot payable at Faridkot as
under:

i) For Sr.No. 1 to 14 Rs. 1500/-(Rs 750/- for SC/ST)

2. The University has right to increase or decrease the number of posts at any stage
without citing any reason or not to fill any or all the posts.

3. Upper Age limit : The candidate should not be more than 40 years of age in the
case of Assistant Professor, not more than 45 years in case of Associate Professor
and not more than 50 years in the case of Professor/Medical Superintendent. In
Service candidates i.e. in the case of persons already in regular employment of any
department of Punjab Government/ Any State Government/Central Government in
India, applying for direct recruitment for all posts shall have 10 years relaxation.
For other posts the maximum age is 37 years. Relaxation is upper age limit as per
Punjab Govt. Rules.
For Ex-Serviceman:- Candidates belong to Ex-Serviceman Category shall
be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the Armed Forces of the
Union from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the
maximum age limit prescribed for direct appointment to such vacancy in the
concerned service rules, by more than 03 years, he shall be deemed to satisfy
the condition regarding the age limit.

5. The Application on prescribed proforma must accompany self attested copies of

certificates for proof of date of birth, permanent residence, marks sheet, degree,
experience etc.

6. Last date and time of receipt of application form at the office of the Registrar,
Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Sadiq Road, Faridkot 20.02.2019
upto 05.00 PM.

7. The applications received without a valid bank draft or without legible copies of
documents or apparently containing incomplete information and those received
after prescribed date & time will be summarily rejected.

8. Applicant must possess the requisite qualification by the last date of receipt of
application.

9. Candidates already in service must route their application Through Proper

Channel.

10. Separate application/proforma may be used for each post.

11. For Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor (Medical)/ Medical

Superintendent candidate must have knowledge of Punjabi language upto
matriculation standard or equivalent and in case he does not, must acquire the same
within six month of joining and for others posts candidate must have pass Punjabi
Examination upto Matriculation or its equivalent.
