Aktiviti / Activities 1. Teacher introduces the phonemes /eI/ for ai and /i:/ for ee
sounds.
2. Pupils say aloud the sounds for ai and ee.
3. Pupils blend phonemes for ai and ee sounds to form words.
ai – aid, aim, fail, jail, laid, maid, mail, nail, paid, pail, rain, sail,
snail, tail, train, wait.
ee – bee, eel, free, green, queen, see, seed, sheep, sheet, sleep,
sweep, sweet, three, tree, weed.
4. Pupils say aloud those words with teacher’s guide.
5. In individually, pupils complete the exercise of ai sound and ee
sound in their Activity Book Year 2.
6. Teacher discusses the answers.
7. Teacher concludes today’s lesson.
