 It is not guaranteed that we will be able to accommodate for all of your preferences, but
we will do our best given the scenario and the programs available.

Why do you want to study in Canada? Survey suggests that Canada offers high quality
of education. In this manner, I would like to hone
my talent and capabilities in this kind of learning
environment.
What are your personal and professional goals? I am considered as the _______ in the family who
assures that my parents together with my
siblings could afford basic needs in life like food,
shelter, water, and education. It is quite uneasy
to suffice all the necessary things in order to
survive in life since teachers in the Philippines
receive low compensations. At a very young age,
I actually learned to budget my expenses. I
learned to disregard those things that are not
that important such as luxury materials because I
need to spend money for something worthwhile.

entrepreneurial ventures, hobbies you
are doing right now that you may
consider making a career or business ex:
catering, etc.)

Question Group #4 – Settlement Issues

 These questions will help us prepare for


settlement issues such as board and
lodging, insurance, and airport pick up.
 The more flexible you are with board and
lodging options, the higher the chance we
can find the best lodging option for you.
 The more money you can spend on
lodging, the more options you will have.
 We do not guarantee in selecting a board
and lodging option that hits all of your
preferred criteria, but will work to best
satisfy as much of this criteria (or at least
close to it) as possible.
 We will only provide board and lodging,
insurance, and airport pick up options if
available.

Regarding board and lodging , what is more
important to you – affordability or convenience?

ex: if you select affordability, you would like an


affordable accommodation at the expense of
commuting time to the campus. If you choose
convenience, you value having a close place to
the campus, and don’t mind paying more for it.
What is your board and lodging budget? Student
lodging options normally start at $700/month and
up.
Will you need travel insurance or will you be
finding one yourself? It is mandatory for most
schools for students to obtain a travel health
insurance plan.

 These questions will determine your


financial capability to study in Canada.
 The more finances you have, the more
study options you have.

Studying in Canada is a major investment. For
most college programs, be prepared to spend on
average 600,000 pesos in program fees per year,
and on average 700,000 pesos in living expenses
per year.

In total, studying in Canada can cost around 1.3


million pesos per year (exact cost can be more or
less depending on the student’s program and
lifestyle). Are you ready for this?
If you (or your sponsor) are not ready to spend
the estimated amount above, what is your
maximum budget for study and living expenses in
Canada?

statements with at least 12 months of deposit
history from consistent income sources (ex:
salary, business income, interest from financial
