You are on page 1of 2

We will make both single entry and double entry mode

So give option in configuration, which method user want to follow he will set the confi accordingly.

For single entry: (only either cash or bank can be done at a time, for multilple payee, used to manage
the cash and bank ledger)
Choose receipt config, number, date
Choose Account (Cash or bank)
Then the grid I shared.
Whenever I will write amount and press enter, details for all the pending invoice on the screen will
appear, first it will ask how I want to receive the payment,
e.g
Against Invoice
On Account
We can give Advance also but since we already have that in inventory and we are linking that
advance here in accounts so I think we don’t need advance here, rest we can discuss.

User will select the invoices in which he want to adjust the amount.
Bill adjustment window will only open if user has selected ask for bill adjustment checkbox in receipt
configuration otherwise receipt will always take that amount on account of payee.

Now if I choose against invoice, all the pending invoice for that customer will open.
Also the Remarks should be loaded automatically in this case.

If user receives amount in bank,

Then give option in configuration (checkbox)- ask for bank details
If user receives amount in bank, and he has selected this chkbox, then whenever he choose bank
account, after pressing the amount ask for bank details

Chq No.
Date
Amount (should automatically pickup)
Bank Name
Branch
Received From
Remarks
(Give option in user’s hand what out of these details he wants to see)
See the last link I shared at 7:58. Whenever the window for bank allocation comes he press F12 and
bank allocation configuration opens up.

Double entry Mode:

It can take multiple type of payment modes (Already Created by rohit)
Write voucher Configuration, Number, Date

1. In receipt there will always be Cr entry first (because hmesha debit hone wala account pehle
aata hai and credit bad me aata hai)
Lets take an example:
Akshit started a business with 100000
Here are 2 acounts to be effected
1. Cash A/C (Real)
2. Capital A/C (Personal)
So its would be in accounting terms
Cash a/c Dr 100000
Capital ac Cr 100000

So in receipt in the first grid it should be Cr only, so I will show as

Cr capital account 100000

Note*: Now there comes the account which will be debited. And ye dr tab tak aana chahiye
jab tak dr amount bhi 1 lakh na ho jae.

So entry should be

Cr capital A/C 100000

Dr Cash A/C 10000

Total
Remarks (If bill is adjusted, remarks will automatically load)

If I choose bank account, whenever I enter the amount it will ask for bank details
