Start your class with an activity named: “Guess what order”
A personalized version of the Business English Alibi Game above is for students to guess the
order of their partner’s actions yesterday or at the weekend. One student says two things they did
and their partner has to make a true sentence, keeping the same order in the sentence as they
were said in, e.g. “When you had a shower, you had already finished breakfast” or “You had a
shower and then you had breakfast”. Or use another activity from the extra sheet with activities.
Hapi i dytë:
Ask students to read the story in exercise 1 page 98 and answer whether it has a happy ending or
not? The read the story again and put the events a-g in the chronological order 1-7.
Hapi i tret :
Review with them grammar focus about Past Perfect and answer the two questions. Use grammar
box on exercise 3 page 98 and grammar focus section page 119. And then check their
understanding with Ex. 4 where students have to underline all the examples of the Past Perfect in
the text in exercise 1, exercise 5 where students have to underline the action that happened first.

Ask students to complete the sentences with the correct Past simple or Past Perfect in exercise 6
and write six similar Past Perfect sentences about them (exercise 7).
