research by summarizing the main idea of the manuscript. The title
should concisely identify the variables being investigated and the
relationship among those variables (American Psychological

words that do not add substance or words that are misleading.}

Abstract

This states the main contents of the report in a capsulated form or this describes

what the report is all about. This part describes the significance of the topic under

study. Include information on incidence or prevalence and severity of the

problem. Describe what is not known about the problem that it intends to

address. Include any preliminary data or additional background information

indicating the rationale for the research.

I. Introduction

This part provides background information or preamble to the report. Describe how your

topic is related to globalization It includes a justification of the selection or choice of the

study.

a. Research Problem

This provides the purpose for the research. This section of the paper

introduces the problem under investigation, addresses why the researcher

wants to investigate this problem, and how the research findings may

help. Supporting documentation, including statistical data if available,

should be used to emphasize the need for this research. This section is

one of the most important sections of the Research paper; its serves to

gain the reader’s attention and support. You care about the research, but

the reader may need some convincing. The first few sentences of the

paper should intrigue the reader to spike his or her interest and encourage

further reading.

b. Research Objective

It must be based on a situation of need or of unresolved difficulties. It

should be stated precisely, accurately, and clearly. It can be stated either

in a declarative or interrogative form. It can be one main statement/

question, or a series of statements/questions, or a combination of these

forms. The problem should be defined in terms of the data that can be

obtained.

As you begin to write the problem statement of your research, consider

your research. First consider why you feel the problem is

important. Consider how your study relates to previous work in the field,

how you will link your hypotheses and objectives to theory, and how the

hypotheses relate to the research design. Finally, consider the theoretical

and practical implications involved in your research project (APA,

2010). A well-developed, concise, and clear problem statement will lay

the foundation for a strong research and the dissertation that follows.

II. Studies and Literature Review

This provides identification of major studies and literature that supports and validates

the topic; focuses on areas that offer support for new research, and offers the student

an opportunity to analyze and synthesize past research in the context of their present

problem. For the Research paper, the student should connect their research project to

a theoretical model reported in the literature. The most successful research projects

have been based on the research of predecessors, and this section of the Research

paper provides enough of a description of previous research to plant seeds in the mind

of the reader suggesting more information is needed. A strong Research paper is

based on a wide-range literature review that is condensed into a summary of key points.

a. Foreign literature

Books, articles, etc. which are authored by foreign writers

b. Foreign studies

Researches, theses, dissertations of foreign authors of different countries

c. Local literature

Books, articles, journals, etc. written in the Philippines

d. Local studies

Researches, theses, dissertations written locally by Filipino writers

e. Synthesis and relevance to the study

Once the researcher gathered all those foreign and local literature and

studies, he has to collate and synthesize them to show their relevance to his

undertakings.

III. Conceptual Basis

This part should contain theories which further support the study being conducted. It is a

scheme for the research problem and a central focus of the study. It specifies the key

variables showing their relationships.

It lays out the conceptual basis of this dissertation. It is the theoretical foundation for the

subsequent chapters and Analysis. At first, an introduction to success factor research is

given, highlighting its limitations. This is followed by the presentation of model concept

which builds the framework for the analysis of the topic. Finally, the topic is presented

and its composition and characteristics are highlighted.

IV. Operationalization (Methodology)

This part provides an explanation and reasoning of the applied research methodology.

This study is a qualitative research. A qualitative research method is a general way of

thinking about conducting qualitative research. It describes explicitly or implicitly the

purpose of the research, the role of the researcher and the method of data analysis.

Qualitative researcher aims to gather an in-depth understanding of the topic and the

reasons that govern such. The qualitative method investigates the why and how, not

just what, when and where.

a. Data Collection

Refers to the design used in the research like survey, descriptive, and

experimental. It includes the target respondents (if any) and the size of the

population. It describes the sample size, and the sampling procedure.

b. Data Description

This refers to the description of the adoption, construction, and administration of

instruments. These instruments include tests, questionnaires, interview,

apparatuses, devices, and laboratory equipment.

c. Analysis / Results of Data

The description on how the researcher gathered his data. The whole processes

of gathering data should be described accurately and precisely from the

distribution of the questionnaires, and other instruments to the retrievals of the

same. In case of experiments, it includes the instructions given to the

participants, the formation of groups, the experimental manipulations, and control

features in the design. This section tells the reader what the researcher did and

how he did it.

V. Discussion

Implication is based on the findings of the previous chapters. In the realm of applied

research it now focuses on actually delivering a solution for a practical problem (Ulrich,

1981, 1984), as well as the derived results from the Analysis by means of their practical

application.

a. Theoretical Implications

The research at hand first presented an overview of the topic and its most

relevant players. Although the focus of this reserch lay on the evaluation of

practical recommendation, some relevant theoretical insights could be generated.

Predominantly, these refer to the classification of related ideas.

b. Practical Implications

This part applied research it now focuses on actually delivering a solution for a

practical problem as well as highlight of the importance of verifying the derived

results from the application.

VI. Conclusion

This summarizes the collected data and presents the results to the reader. It is a brief

recapitulation of the entire content of the paper. It shows the important points of the

study from the problem to the description on how the researcher arrived at the result

and findings. It includes a brief statement of the objectives and problems of the study,

the method used, the respondents, the instruments, and the findings.

a. Key Findings

This part contains points that were actually learned from the study. They are

answer to the sub-questions raised in the statement of the problems. They are

written concisely and convey all the information resulting from the study acquired

by the research questions. They are directed only to the population and area of

the study stated in categorical form.

b. Recommendations

Recommendations should be based on the conclusions made. The

recommendations are meant to improve and solve the problems raised. They are

actions to be done by people or organizations or agencies so that the problems

could be solved. They are also appeals to people who are stakeholders or

interested in solving the problem found in the study.

References

This provides references to the material cited in the literature review and elsewhere in

the paper. The researcher must tell the reader the sources of all materials he used in

his study; the direct quotations and borrowed ideas in related literature and studies, the

visual materials like maps, charts, diagrams, and pictures; otherwise he will be cited for

plagiarism. The entries in the references are arranged in alphabetical order of family

name of the authors, in hanging indented and single spaced form with double spacing

between references.

Most researches are now using American Psychological Association (APA) style which

entries’ order are the following:

publication: Publisher.
