2.0 SYNOPSIS
In this course, students will be trained in handling DCS to control online pilot plants.

3.0 OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, students shall be able to:
a. perform open loop tests (CO1),
b. calculate optimum controller setting (CO2),
c. and analyse closed loop loop responses (CO3).

4.0 METHODS OF INSTRUCTION


Lecture: 1 hour/week
Laboratory: 3 hours / week
