CURRICULUM TEAM
COURSE OBJECTIVES
To provide the elementary knowledge of the mechanical, electronic and other field of engineering.
To emphasize on the basic principles, working and applications of the different devices, mechanisms and
machines.
Develop an overall understanding about the fundamentals so that students can easily understand the functioning of
machines used in Apparel Manufacturing, wherever possible.
SESSION PLAN
Transmission of Motion & Drives based on Belt & Pulley, Gear & Pinion, sprocket and chain ,
Power or Mechanical Cam & Follower, Crank, worm & worm wheel with simple numerical
Transmission on velocity ratio etc… with special emphasis on machines like,
