LGBTQ+ Equity Week - Initial Feedback

LGBTQ+ Equity Week is a summer learning project funded by CAC that will roll out districtwide in October
2019, in honor of National Coming Out Day. The project will aim to provide equitable curricular content,
including LGBTQ+ history, opportunity, and representation. Furthermore, this week of curriculum seeks to
address and a rm intersectional identities that encompass a combination of race, gender, and/or sexuality.
The planning team will be offering a weeklong curriculum with lesson plans and activities, much like the
activities provided for BLM Week & Green Week.

Please take a few moments to for an anonymous survey regarding your comfort level, preparedness, and
knowledge of the topic. You are also invited to voice your feedback or ideas at our next GSEA meeting (May
14th @ 4:15pm) in the Washington School library.
