 PERSONAL WRITE-UP

I, Nathan A/L Ganasan, a fresh graduate with a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering

from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia seeking an entry-level position in engineering field. ​I
have demonstrated strong academic performance throughout my undergraduate studies,
achieving a CGPA of 3.73. The courses that I have completed have given me a solid
foundation in the tools, processes and methodologies relevant to my study field.

I have always been fascinated by the vast job machines are able to perform and the
way these cars were designed. Engineering arrived like a wish granting spell, as it combines
two subjects I am very passionate about which is majoring in physics and mathematics. Using
the knowledge I gained i can say that during much of our daily life at home, school or work
has been revolutionised over the past generation by the development of mechanical.

In regards of co-curricular activities, football has played an important aspect in my

life. Having played for high school and representing my matriculation at the age of eighteen
has been a great chapter in my life. This experience was very valuable and it enabled me to
develop my communication and leadership skills. I am also a good team player. In my past, i
have participated in various designing competition as a team in my university life. We even
have won the Introduction to Mechanical Engineering competition by designing a biomedical
robotic arm with my team.

In education wise I have participated in various activities, all very diverse. During
school time, I was runner up for Solar Car Competition which was organised by Physics
Club. Now I have developed the skill turning into a whole new level by learning Solidworks
and Matlab. University is all about learning and improving the skills as day passes by. That is
why I never missed to attend any engineering workshop during my university life. I am also
good at C, C++ and Octave programming.

Finally, I hope that a job from your company is going to serve as to ultimate base of
journey I am taking to achieve my dreams towards a successful engineering career. In
conclusion, I believe I can be real asset to your company and succeed as an engineer. ​Thank
