Program Description: GRADE -1 (LAC) Training for all Grade 1 Teachers of BCIS

II. RATIONALE
Teachers play a crucial role in improving the quality of the teaching and learning process. Enhancing
teachers’ capabilities on using different strategies and activities in his/her learning process will make learners’ learning
more effective and meaningful. Grade 1 pupils need careful way of enhancing the strategies to be used in crafting out
DLL so that it would cater the needs of the learners’ interest.
The LAC session aims to achieve the following objectives:
a. Capacitate the grade 1 teachers of Bacolod Central Elementary School on how to make his/her teaching more
effective using explicit instruction and differentiated instruction through developmental activities.
b. Demonstrate understanding of the RPMS TOOLS for teachers by actual using of the tools.
c. Sample Modified DLL using the different strategies learned.
