JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT OF JOSELITO PANAHON

I, JOSELITO PANAHON, of legal age, Filipino, married and a resident of Brgy.


Lapidario, Trece Martires City, Cavite, after having been sworn to in accordance
with the law do hereby depose and state.

I am answering the questions propounded by my counsel, MILDRED T.


RAMIREZ, of Public Attorney’s Office, Dasmarinas District, fully conscious that I
am under oath and that I may face criminal liability for false testimony or perjury.

This Judicial Affidavit is written in English, a language known and


understood by me, and the examination and execution thereof were done at the
Public Attorney’s Office, Dasmarinas, Cavite; and

This Judicial Affidavit shall serve as my direct testimony in this case.

Q. Do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth?

Q. Please state your name and other personal circumstances.


A. I am Joselito Panahon of legal age, Filipino, married and a resident of Brgy.
Lapidario, Trece Martires City, Cavite.

Q. What is your highest educational attainment?


A. College Graduate.

Q. What is your job, if any?


A. Pastor and Businessman.
Q. Why are you here in court today, Ms. Witness?
A. To testify on the allegations in the petition filed by the petitioner against
Mary Jane Benusa Loreto.

Q. DO you know Mary Jane Benusa Loreto and Dexter Loreto?


A. Yes Mam.

Q. Why do you know them?


A. I was the principal sponsor during their civil wedding.

Q. Can you please describe Dexter and Mary Jane as a couple?


A. They got married last May 19, 2005. Before their marriage, they were used
to be a sweet loving couple. So, I was surprised when Mary Jane informed me
that Dexter filed a petition to annul their marriage.

Q. How will you describe the first few months of the marriage?
A. Every time I visited their place, I notice that Mary Jane’s eyes were always
swollen and will ask her what happened. She replied, that its nothing serious, it
was just an eye allergy.

Q. What did you do after learning the problem of the couple.


A. I immediately talked with Dexter to confirm the truthfulness of Mary Jane’s
allegation. Then I advised him to settle their problem amicably and undergo
counseling for their kids’ welfare.

Q. Do you affirm and confirm the truthfulness and veracity of all the
statements you stated in this judicial affidavit
A. Yes Mam.

Q. I have no more questions as of now, do you have something more to say?


A. No more Mam
