SYNOPSIS
Set in the 19th century, Dr. John Watson, a doctor who started a retired Army
medical staff to live the life of a new city of London. Beginning of the need to share
living quarters, he finally met with a mysterious friend who would later become his
good friend. Sherlock Holmes, a man with a personality that is very ekstentrik, weird,
and wonderful this proficient Dr. Watson made a lot of curious. Holmes seems to be a
detective profession as consultants. The detective, De Mello played this violin is
extraordinary intelligent detective in discovery several criminal cases. Often a lot of
professional detectives came to her to ask for help. Unfortunately, Holmes never knew

One day London shocked by the death of a man named Enoch Drebber J. In
Lauriston Gardens No. 3, a blank home located just off Brixton Road. With a terrible

of this murder? What is the meaning of the word "RACHE" written by the murderer
didinding with blood? All of this is a mystery that shook the city of London where
they are. Lestrade and Gregson, two Scotland site detectives, Holmes ask for help in

victim is Joseph Stangerson, private secretary to Enoch J. Drebber.

2. Dr. Watson: A doctor and a retired Army medical staff. He is the
person who is traumatic, kind and loyal friend.
3. Tobias Gregson: A police detective at Scotland site, he is a long man
with a pale-faced with reddish hair. He is intelligent, but arrogant and
like coveting success his colleagues.
4. Lestrade: A police detective at Scotland site, he was described as a
small pointy-facing man. He is clever, but like his competitor, he also
has a arrogant attitude and like coveting Gregson.
5. John Rance: A police officer who found the dead body of Enoch J.
Drebber. She was brave but greed.
6. Madam Charpentier: An owner of food where Enoch J. Drebber and
Stanasson Joseph lived. He loved his children and a good mother, but
he had the attitude of greed.
7. Alice: The daughter of Madame Charpentier, he is depicted as a
beautiful girl. His character was the son of the plain and honest.
8. Arthur Charpentier: The son of Madam Charpentiger and the brother of
Alice, he was a second lieutenant in the Royal fleet, he was described
as easy to drive and many love his brother's blood.
9. John Ferrier: A farmer and former hunter who became the adopted
father of Lucy. Her face is thin and hard, her skin is brow, prominent
cheek bones, hair and his beard gray, Brown and his eyes sunken. He
was a very kind, loving daughter, brave, rough, and also hard workers..
10. Lucy Ferrier: Most beautiful girl in Utah, he was the son of John Ferrier
and lover of Jefferson hope that forced married Enoch J. Drebber. Lucy
is a girl that is well beautiful and independent.

1. Jefferson Hope: Is the lover of Lucy Ferrier, a fine man who eventually
becomes a murderer Drebber and Stangerson because of their blood.
He was described as a man who was sticky, brave, religious, but spily.
2. Enoch J. Drebber: Is the man of Lucy Ferrier. He described Facless
Tembam and had 7 wives. He has a wicked character, and also arrogant,
avarite.
3. Joseph Stangerson: is a friend and personal secretary Drebber. He is the
man who killed John Ferrier. He was described as pale and long
working youth. He is the person covered, and also arrogant, cruel.
4. Brigham Young: Is the leader of a group of Mormon. In The novel she
is described as authoritarian and brutal.

The atmosphere is described in the novel is the mysterious and suspenseful.
 Point of View
The novel uses a first-person perspective. The writer chose to tell the story of
the adventure of the existing Dinovel it by the view of Dr. Watson, Sherlock
Holmes's good friend. Throughout this novel, the author uses the word "I" who
is speaking of the perspective of Dr Watson
