INTRODUCTION
Satyam offers „under one roof ‟ automotive and engineering solutions to all the
customers through its expertise in designing, development, tooling,
manufacturing , testing and delivery capabilities. Backed by its technical
expertise and highly enthusiastic workforce, Satyam Auto Components today
has become a supplier of choice for the Indian Automotive Industry.
The company believes in making strategic investments in latest technologies so
that its customers can take advantages of the company‟s forward thinking
approach. Today, it has achieved a turnover of INR 866 for the year 2016-17.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Established in 2001 in the automotive industrial hub of Gurgaon, Satyam Auto


Components Pvt. Ltd. is serving the escalating market demands for high quality
automotive components. With 17 years of rich experience in the automotive
industry, Satyam today is a world class manufacturer of Chassis for
Motorcycles, Welded Sub-Assemblies, Fuel Tanks for two and four wheelers
and Brake Booster Assemblies.
All the facilities are ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 certified and
meet the most stringent quality norms set by its diverse range of customers.
SWOT ANALYSIS

STRENGTH (S): -
 Low cost producer of quality equipment due to cheap labour and fully
depreciated plants.
 Flexible manufacturing set up.
 Entry barrier due to high replacement cost of its manufacturing facilities.
 Large Pool of engineers.
WEAKNESSES (W): -
 High working capital requirement due to its exposure to cash starved SEBs
(State electricity boards) and High WIP.
 Inability to provide project financing.

OPPORTUNITIES (O): -
 High-expected growth in power sectors.
 High growth forecast in India‟s index of industrial production would increase
demand for industrial equipment such better quality break disc pads.
 Rising living standard in the country.

THREATS (T): -
 Technical suppliers are becoming competitors with the opening up of the Indian
economy.
 Fall in global power equipment prices can effect profitability.
OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

• To study the current employee life-cycle of the company.


• To understand the relationship between employee satisfaction and employee life
cycle based on various attributes such as age, gender, and experience with the
company and department.

• To understand the level of satisfaction of the employees over the life cycle and
how they change over the cycle.

• To understand the various factors which the employee considers while leaving
the job.

• To recommend various majors that the company can adopt to improve its
employee satisfaction.
Scope of the study

In this section of the proposal, the researcher describes the width and breadth of
the study in terms of:
1. Geographical coverage (physical area covered by the study).

2. Sample coverage (the part or whole of the population of the study covers).

3. Content coverage (the dimensions of the variable the study looks at).

4. Time coverage (the time period covered by the study).


Research Methodology
To conduct any research a scientific method must be followed. The universe of
study is very large in which it is difficult to collect information from all the
employees. So, the sampling method has been followed for the study. The
analysis is based on primary as well as secondary data.

Methodology is a way to systematically solve the research problem. It may be
understood as a science of studying how research is done scientifically. It is
necessary for the researcher to know not only the research method but also the
methodology. We can say that research methodology has many dimensions and
research methods do constitute a part of the research methodology. Research is
common refers to a research for knowledge.
Once can also define research as a scientific and systematic search for pertinent
information on a specific topic. In fact, research is an art of specific
investigation.
Research comprises redefining problems, formulating hypothesis or suggested
solution, collecting organizing and evaluating data.

RESEARCH DESIGN
A Research design is the arrangement of conditions for collection an analysis of
data in a manner that aims to combine relevance to the research purpose with
economy in procedure.
A research design may constitute decisions regarding what, where, when, how
much, by hat means concerning on inquiry or are research study‟s.
As such design includes an outline of what the researcher will do from writing
the hypothesis and its operational implication to the final analysis of data.

FINDINGS
The data which I analyzed from the questionnaire has the following findings:


From the data interpretation it is seen that most of the employees believe that
employee life cycle means promotion of employees, which is a wrong notion.


The data also reveals that the employee life cycle results in salary increment,
however it should also be made to learn that the increment depends upon the
performance of employees and is not a boundation on the company.


Most of the respondent think that the employee life cycle process not raise
total output of the organization.


Most of the respondent said that employee life cycle is organized in the
organization on yearly basis.


Most of the people are satisfied with the appraisal process of the organization.


Most of the respondents think that promotion are strictly based on employee
life cycle.


Most of the employees think that the employee life cycle is based on both total
output and behavioral efficiency.


Most of the respondent said that employee life cycle help to achieve the
organizational goal.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

Powerful online advertising tools, such as SEO, content


marketing, online display ads, geo-targeting and social networking, make it
easier to reach your target audience compared to offline advertising methods.
This helps in getting more relevant leads, making your marketing campaigns
more effective and profitable.
LIMITATION OF THE STUDY


The time period given for the study was limited.


The respondents of the questionnaire was very busy and could not offer more
time to answer.


The average time to response was 5-6 min.


Study restricted to Satyam Auto Component Pvt. Ltd., regional branch
Haridwar only.


The sample size was restricted to 35 and may not represent the whole
employee population.

CONCLUTION

• The study reveals that the employee life-cycle of employees at Satyam Auto
Component Pvt. Ltd. is satisfactory.

• Most of the surveyed employees are satisfied with the methods adopted by the
organization.

• The organization is recognizing the importance of satisfying the employees


and retaining them.

• Further improvements can be made so that all members are highly satisfied
with the procedure.

• The suggestions and recommendations when implemented will still more


benefit the organization.

• Revise in Salary structure, Improvement in work environment, proper


employee engagement activities should be taken to improve the problem of
the company.
