Wave Equation in one dimension and its solution using Fourier series. D’ Alembert’s solution.
Wave equation in two dimensions for a rectangular membrane and its solution using Double
Fourier series
Heat equation in one dimension and its solutions using Fourier series and using Fourier
transforms.
Laplace’s equation in two dimensions with rectangular boundary conditions. Laplacian in polar
coordinates, Circular membrane, Fourier-Bessel series.
