SWOT Analysis:

A- Strength:

1- Cost Structure: SkyParking’s low cost structure helps it produce at a low


cost and sell its products at a low price, making it affordable for its customers.
2- SkyParking Will has a large asset base, which provides it with better
solvency.
3- Automation: of various stages of production will allow to more efficient use
of resources and reducing costs. It also allows for consistency in quality of our
services.
4- Skilled Labor force: SkyParking will invest extensively in the training of its
employees to have a large number of skilled and motivated employees.
5- Social Media: SkyParking will have a strong presence on social media with
more than thousands of followers on the three most famous social media
platforms: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
6- Service Portfolio: SkyParking has unique service offerings that are not
provided by competitors.

* Strengths for customers:

1- Your vehicle is likely to be secure


2- You don’t need to walk far in unpleasant weather or with heavy cargo
3- The vehicle is likely to need fewer washings
4- Your car won’t take so long to the heat up or cool down before taking it for a
drive
5- The parking won’t inconvenience your neighbors
6- It’s less likely to be hit or marred than being parked on the street
7- There is no need for driving while looking for an available space.

B- Weaknesses:

1- Parking might be in a tight space and hard to access


2- Door dings if another one vehicle is parked nearby
3- In small quarters, you might have a problem opening a door
4- The possibility of a fire if something goes wrong with the car while parked
5- Rented Property: A significant proportion of the property that SkyParking
owns is rented rather than purchased. It has to pay large amounts of rent on
these adding to its costs.
6- Weak Liquidity when owing the property: SkyParking will have weak
liquidity ratios when purchasing its own property in year 3.
7- In its first years, SkyParking will operate in only 3 sites so it may be a
weakness point causing limiting the scope of our market.
8- There is a greater construction cost per space.
9- It may be a bit confusing for unfamiliar users.

C- Opportunities:

1- Internet: there has been an increase in the number of internet users all over
the world. This means that there is an opportunity for SkyParking to expand
their presence online; by using the internet to interact with its customers.

2- Social Media: there has been an increase in the number of social media users
worldwide. The three social media platforms; Facebook, Twitter and Instagram,
have shown the greatest number of increase in monthly active users.
SkyParking can use social media to promote its products, interact with
customers and collect feedback from them.

3- Technological developments: technology comes with huge benefits among


many departments. Operations can be automated to reduce costs. Technology
enables better data to be collected on customers and improves marketing
efforts.

4- Population: the population has been growing and is expected to grow at a


positive rate for the upcoming years. This is beneficial for SkyParking as there
will be an increase in the number of potential customers that it can target.

5- Green government drive: this provides an opportunity for us for the sale of
our products to government contractors.

6- Transport Industry: the transport industry has been grown in the past few
years, and shows growth potential in the future. This has reduced the costs of
transportation, which is beneficial for us as it will lower the overall costs.

7- Tourism: growth in tourism is beneficial for SkyParking as it will provide


new potential customers that it can target in order to gain market share.

8- Skilled workers: increase in education and training by numerous institutes


has increased the amount of skilled labor available within the country. This
means that if SkyParking is able to hire skilled labor, it would have to spend
less on training and development, therefore, saving costs.
9- Globalization: Increased globalization does not restrict SkyParking to its
own country. It can extend its operations to other countries, entering into these
markets and making use of the opportunities that lie in these markets.

D- Threats:

1- Technological developments by competitors; New technological


developments by a few competitors within the industry pose a threat to
SkyParking as customer attracted to this new technology can be lost to
competitors, decreasing our overall market share.

2- Suppliers: The bargaining power of suppliers has increased over the years
with the decrease in the number of suppliers. This means that the costs of our
inputs could increase.
3- New entrants: there have been numerous players that have entered the
market and are gaining market share by gaining existing companies’ market
share. This is a threat to SkyParking as it can lose its customers to these new
entrants.
5- Political uncertainties in Egypt prove to be a barrier in business, making the
business incurs unnecessary costs.
6- The fluctuating interest rates in Egypt do not provide a stable financial and
economic environment.
7- Consumer tastes are changing, and this puts pressure on us to constantly
change our products to meet the needs of our customers.
8- The rise in prices of fuel has increased the opportunity of customers'
thinking to purchase a new car which will obviously affect our market share
because it may reduce the number of our customers.
9- Constant technological developments require the workforce to be trained
accordingly as the inability to keep up with these changes can lead to loss of
business for SkyParking.
