DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Manage the Service team of groups.

 Knowledge of handling all procedure according API,ASME,ASTME,NACE,SSPC,PIPE SCH.
 Handling Carry out inspection & repair certification of Bop closing unit, Chicksan
loop,swivel,plug valve,pulsation dampner,poor boy degasser tank,air tank,Complete service,repair
and function test of BOP closing unit,Tongs,Pup joints,Reset relief valve,Vaccume degasser
tank,ane etc lots of equipment

 Troubleshooting of redundant Profibus, Ethernet, Modbus, Optical & wireless communication

Between PLC systems.
 Planning required up gradation for instruments to achieve production quality and cost
Minimizing.
 Maintenance and calibration of pneumatic & hydraulic control.
 Maintenance and calibration of flow meters ( electromagnetic, turbine)
 Maintenance and calibration of pressure transducer.
 Surveying old accumulator units and certifying it in accordance to API 16 D.
 Carry out calculation of unit for checking compatibility with BOP stacks in accordance to API
16D.

 Helping in schematic designs of Jackup and subsea accumulator units.
 Installation and commissioning of newly supplied units.
 Follow basic work processes: work orders, production drawings, sample assemblies, test

INDUSTRIAL SKILLS

 About 14 + years of experience as an instrumentation and control systems engineer in

detailed maintenance, commissioning and development co-ordination of instruments and
control systems in accumulator closing unit & Rig flow control equipment for oil and gas
projects.
 Installation, calibration and loop checking of the field instruments
 Maintenance and calibration of the control valves (Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Part turn, MOV,
NRV,--- )
 Experienced in flow meters configuring (electromagnetic, turbine, variable area )
