Buddhism was a very attractive to the people of the classical era because it explained the
world and helped deal with a mass amount of people’s suffrage. With the growing amount of
empires, this suffrage was in almost everyone's lives. What buddhism explained to people was
that regardless of anything, everyone has desires. These desires lead to suffering. Through this
message, buddhism explained how the world worked around this basic idea. To many, this was a
key to gaining a better life in which many wanted.
Buddhism explained to many people the reason for their suffrage. In early times like in
the classical era, the world was a unknown place with a need to be explained. People required an
explanation. As empires grew, human suffrage grew. Because of this, people wanted a way out of
this horrible, permanent life of there's. Buddhism explained to them that they’re suffrage was all
because of their desire for more. These desires were permanently a thing in humans, no one was
born without them and so it caused great pain for everyone alike. But it also explained them a
way out of the pain in their lives. By concentrating on eliminating all desire of one's mind but
can be without suffrage. Through the Buddha's eightfold path, one can achieve this. And so many
believed in buddhism just because it gave them a belief in having a better life, whether they
reached nirvana or not, it felt much better to have a explanation than just live with suffrage. But
rather than becoming a “religion”, it became a way of life for many to follow while also allowing
others to believe in another religion.
Buddhism’s explanation on the world was that it was a contestant struggle with desire.
This constant struggle in over different lives, forever. This idea was formed from hinduism. For
Buddhism, this very idea that struggle is endless because everyone has desire, yet rid of desire is
the escape. This is the entire message for the world of Buddhism. This central idea explains it all
to them. Life is endless and evil is desire. So basic yet so appealing for people in simple times.
For most people, there whole world was just struggle. This could give them an explanation to
their entire life they knew and give them a escape.
Buddhism was a way of life that was so necessary to people of the time to believe in. It
gave them a path in which to escape. It was so important for these people who were struggling
because of their own empire they serve under to have a hope in relieving their struggles.
Buddhism appealed to them because it explained a simple idea for people to just work at and
improve their lives. It gave them such a simple explanation to evil and how people should live
that it was easy. It worked in tandem with whatever other religion people believed in and gave
them a second way to live there terrible life. For people of the time, Buddhism explained the
world and their struggling in a simple way for everyone alike to understand and believe in.
