Applications are invited for admission into the following programmes offered by the Vidyapeetha
during the academic year 2019-20. Applications can be uploaded directly on to the http://
rsvpadmissions.ac.in (or) http://rsvidyapeetha.ac.in (or) 14.139.85.101 (or) can be dowloaded and
sent by Post. Applications downloaded from the website should be sent along with DD of Rs.250/-
drawn in favour of The Registrar, R.S.Vidyapeetha from any nationalised Bank payable at Tirupati.
The last date to receive the filled in applications (online & offline) for all programmes is
06-06-2019. For Kasmiri migrants, the last date for receipt of filled in applications is 13-06-2019.
Reservation for SCs, STs, OBCs, PwD and EWS etc., will be made applicable for admission into
Vidyapeetha Programmes as per the existing rules of Government of India.

I. UNDER- GRADUATE PROGRAMMES - SAMMANITA SASTRI (Eq.to B.A. Hons.) in 11
Sastras SAMMANITA SASTRI (VEDABHASHYAM & VEDIC STUDIES) ; B.Sc.
Computers; B.A. Hons. with Sahitya as a Compulsory Elective; B.Sc. in Yoga.

II. POST-GRADUATE COURSES : Duration : 4 Semesters : ACHARYA : (Eq.to M.A. Sanskrit
in Shastras) in 14 shastras i.e. Sahitya/Vyakarana/Jyotisha (Phalita, Siddhanta)/Nyaya/Advaita Vedanta/
Visishtadvaita Vedanta/DvaitaVedanta/Agama/SankhyaYoga/Dharmasastra/Puranetihasa/Mimamsa
and Vedabashyam (Krishna Yajurveda and Sukla Yajurveda) ; M.A. in Sanskrit (Sabdabodha Systems
& Language Technology) ; M.Sc. in Yoga Therapy; M.Sc. in Computer Science & Sanskrit
Language Technology. M.A in Hindi ; Eligibility : See prospectus for details of all programmes.
Innovative programme sanctioned by UGC :
(i) M.A.I.M.T. (Master in Ancient Indian Management Techniques) Duration : 4 Semesters
Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline having secured a minimum of 50% marks.
(ii) Yoga Vijnan (iii) Yoga Therapy and Stress Management ; Eligibility : Any graduate with second
class. Age limit:40 years; Duration :01 year
III.RESEARCH PROGRAMMES : (i) VISISHTACHARYA (M.Phil.) Duration: 2 semesters in
1. Sahitya; 2.Vyakarana; 3. Jyotisha - (Phalitha & Siddhanta) ; 4. Nyaya ; 5.Advaita Vedanta ;
6. Visistadvaita Vedanta; 7. Dvaita Vedanta; 8. Agama; 9. Manuscriptology and Paleography ;
10. Puranetihasa ; 11. Dharmasastra 12. Mimamsa 13. Sankhya Yoga 14. Vedabhashya 15. Education.
Eligibility: 55% in Post Graduate and pass in entrance test.
(ii)VIDYAVARIDHI (Doctor of Philosophy) in all above mentioned Traditonal Sastras, Sabdabodha
Systems, General Sanskrit Studies and Education.
A Separate notification was issued for conduct of All India Common Entrance Test for admission into
Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D.) programme.
(iii) VIDYA VACHASPATI (D.Litt.) in all above mentioned Traditonal Sastras and Education. For details

• Scholarships will be awarded to the eligible students studying full time traditional programmes
only as per rules. Hostel facility with subsidy in mess bills is available. No Hostel facility for
students of evening & Part-time programmes.
