EF Atlanta is currently looking for a passionate, energetic and student-focused Activities


Coordinator for our International Language School. This is a full-time, salaried and
benefited position that requires great communication skills and high energy. This position
will plan events, trips, and programs for our students on a daily basis, while maintaining
administrative tasks and department budgets.

Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

 Plan, advertise, and execute school-wide events and activities that cater to
students’ needs
 Communicate with EF sales offices worldwide to plan group itineraries
 Liaise with local and national service providers to negotiate rates for student
excursions
 Spearhead student service programs
 Hire, train, and manage Activities Action Leaders during Summer session weeks
 Manage accurate and up to date financial and filing records
 Maintain Facebook and all social media accounts for the school
 Develop and maintain Oglethorpe University activities and staff relationships
 Share emergency on call duties with other school staff on rotating basis

The Position:
We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated candidate who wants to take the next step in their professional career. As
the Assistant Manager Travel Canada,you’ll be assisting the Manager Travel Canada in leading a successful team of flight
booking agents. The team is responsible for providing ideal and cost-efficient flight solutions for our individual and group
travelers. You will also be responsible for a small group volume yourself.
You would earn a competitive salary. You would enjoy 3 weeks of vacation in your first year with the company and 4 weeks in
the second. You also would be entitled to full health and dental benefits, an RSP matching plan, as well as attractive travel
advantages.

Job Responsibilities Include:


 Support the Manager Travel Canada to lead and motivate a team of booking agents
 Assist the Manager Travel Canada in controlling quality and costs of our flight operation
 Edit and analyze different reports to improve itinerary quality, group consolidation and airline options for our travelers
 Be responsible for your own group volume in terms of flight bookings, group consolidation and ticketing
 Create and manage training documents/tools and conduct flight training sessions for other departments and new hires
 Work closely with our Sales, Service and Production teams in order to improve overall travel experience for our groups
 Work on various adhoc projects and support the team to reach the set goals
 Act as an intermediary between the Travel team and the Manager Travel Canada
 Represent the Manager Travel Canada when absent

Aptitudes y conocimientos deseados


Requirements:
 2-3 years of work experience in an operational role (preferably in the airline or travel industry)
 Post-secondary degree/diploma, preferably in travel
 Analytical skills and comfortable working with various reports and computer systems
 Proven interest in leading a team and motivating others
 Comfortable speaking in front of an audience, giving presentations and trainings
 Experience with GDS/CRS (Amadeus) is an asset
 Exceptional, professional and friendly communication skills, both verbal and written
 Stress-resistant, self-motivated and committed to completing tasks within a deadline
 Service oriented attitude towards other departments and our customers
 Strong attention to detail
 Flexibility and ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
 Working well within a team, ready to support colleagues at any time
 Easily adaptable to changing situations; having a “nothing is impossible” attitude and ability to multi-task
