reactants and products given in terms of the rate of change of concentration of the other
reactants or products in that reaction.

(c) H2O2 + 2H + 3I I-3 + 2H2O

2. Write a rate law expression for the dependency of the rate of a reaction A  C on the
concentrations of the reactants of A.
3. The rate of the reaction A + 2B 3C + D was reported as 1.0 mol L -1 s-1. State
the rates of formation and consumption of each species. The rate law for the reaction
found to be  = k[A][B]2. What are the units of k? Express the rate law in terms of the
rates of formation and consumption of A and C.

6. A compound X decompose homogeneously in the gas phase according to the equation

X  2B + C
The kinetics decomposition of the reaction was followed by measuring the pressure of the
system. The following table give the value of total pressure, P T at various time during
experiment. (Q12, T1)
