Trainee Personal Goals:

My personal goal is to be more aware of time in the class, and to finish my work in the lesson time.

Lesson Focus:

Using greater than, less than & equal too to compare the numbers.

Lesson Outcomes:

At the end of this lesson students will be able to create a chart to display how to use symbols to shoe
how numbers compare.

Differentiation activities (center 1):

The first center will take a crocodile mouth as its greater than, smaller than and equal too.

Student will use the plastic numbers to create two different numbers, but there
will be an instruction the student in the group should to follow.

The instructions will be on a flash card, they should to


choose number between 1 and 99, student should to take
turns, student need to work together and silently, if the
student follow the rules they will get point in class dojo.

Note: They should to follow the rules and clean up after


they leave to the other center and make a line to move
easily and safely.
Differentiation activities (center 2):

The second center will get a paper with jar, bag.

Also, they will get a mini flash card with numbers and symbols, they should to make a number using
different martials according to the flash card, for example student will pick one flash card that said 4
greater than, so the student need to find something greater than four and model it in the jar or the
box using counters.

up after they leave to the other center and make a

Differentiation activities (center 3):

The third group they will play using the flip book game.

Each pair will get one flip book.

One of the pair will work in the left side and one in the right side, student should to found numbers
according to the symbols that coms in the middle.

For example: the symbols in the middle is greater than, so the pairs should to flip the book and
found two numbers to show the different between them.

Note: They should to follow the rules and clean


up after they leave to the other center and make a

Differentiation activities (center 4):

The fourth group will compare between the numbers but in the form of ones and tens.
The student will get cards and they should to use the right symbols to compare between them, this
game could be a little bit hard so the assistant or me can work with them and guide the group
member.

Note: They should to follow the rules and clean up after they leave to the other center and make a
line to move easily and safely.

Differentiation activities (center 5):

the fifth group will get a card with numbers and blank in the middle, student should to write or but
the right symbols that’s present the answer.
