Overcoming sense
of deprivation
Following the directions of Chief of Army
Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Pa-
kistan Army has established a free
medical camp in far flung Gishkor and
Kooli areas of Baluchistan’s Awaran dis-
trict. According to ISPR, specialist doc-
tors including lady doctors provided
medical care and free medicine to more
than 3500 patients including women and
children. One hundred eye surgeries
were performed besides important di-
agnosis test of ECG, ultrasound, hepa-
titis and screening etc. Similar medi-
cal camps were also established in
Kharran, Gulistan, Badini, Shahraig,
Naushki, Naseerabad, Chaman and
Ziarat areas which provided quality
medic al fac il ity to thous ands of
patients. Moreover, free ration was also
distributed among the 150 poor families
in the province. It is worth mentioning
that earlier this year a 3 days long medi-
cal camp had been arranged in district
Tharparkar, Sindh.
Presently, the political and social en-
vironment of Baluchistan has been fren-
zied against the Pak Army, on instiga-
tion and funding of India and external
powers. Common man of Baluchistan
seemingly depressed and suffering from
extravagant propagation. The reason be-
hind it, on other hand, may be some of
our tribal elders and politicians who
have ignored the rights and interests of
the common man, rather collected per-
sonal benefits. Resultantly, youth are
deprived of their basic rights, neither
health facilities nor opportunities for
basic and higher education are avail-
able to them. Those who are born in re-
mote rural areas of the province die
without even seeing any other city of
their own province. They do not know
that there is any life better than their
village. They are even completely un-
aware of the urban life of Karachi,
Lahore and Islamabad, and facilities and
amenities available there. That’s the
main reason due to which the anxiety
and sense of deprivation has been cre-
ated in the society of Baluchistan.
Undoubtedly, some prominent tribal
elders of Baluchistan have fled and are
on self-exile, on the wish, instigation
and funding of anti-Pakistan foreign
powers. They have open links with their
Anti-Pakistan counterparts, especially
with India and Israel, both the coun-
tries support them by giving them the
facilities from food to of all kinds of luxu-
ries even girls are supplied to them from
India and Israel. But the common man
of Baluchistan is unaware of these facts.
The same negative thinking goes on in
their mind which is taught to them in
the anti-State and anti-Army direction.
They opposes the government and the
Army on every possible level. From po-
litical meeting to a religious gathering
or social media everywhere the Baluch
youth can be found raising slogans
against the state and the Pak Army. In
such situation our Army and FC has
played a brave and courageous role with

and raised voices against them. They

their children, established Health Cen-
ters for them and conducted Medical
Camps on regular basis for them. Dis-

major role to eliminate hatred from
Baluch tribesmen as well as to bridge
gap between them and Pak Army.
Pak Army and their agencies can
play an effective role while dealing with
the sense of deprivation among the com-
mon people and action against the cor-
rupt elements of Baluchistan, who ac-
tually deceived and deprived innocent
people of the province and all the alle-

They will have to expose the corruption
of Politicians and bureaucrats who are
playing with the future of youth by kill-
ing merit through bribery, recommen-
dation and nepotism in education and
employment opportunities. Moreover, in-
stead of development and progress of the
province, development funds are stolen

tion is not eliminated from the province
at this time, the sense of deprivation
will increase and this wave of depres-
sion and depravedness may be con-
verted into bitter revolution.

Experts said that besides

der  Policy  for  Promotion

The industry is expected
to capitalise on the economies
of scale following capacity ex­
pansion and gain competitive
advantage in potential export
destinations.
However, the transitional
phase at the moment is tough
for the industry as the capac­
ity is increasing but sales are
not increasing likewise.
According  to  analysts,
coal prices in the international
market h ave  surged 34%,
which has  increased produc­
tion cost of the cement indus­
try.
They pointed out  that
the cement industry was pin­
ning hopes on  an announce­
ment of the programme to build
5m  low­cost  houses  in  next
five years.

the Jhalawan teaching Hospi­
tal  is  fully  functional  and  as

here,  the  Health  Department
contradicted the statement of

is just beginning. Insha Allah this
will  spread  all  across  Paki­
stan,” he remarked.
The  prime minister  said
the government had decided to
build flats to accommodate the
slum  dwellers, who were  cur­
rently living in untidy conditions.
For the purpose, the government
would seek Chinese support to
build pre­fabricated structures,
which usually took  around a
week to raise a floor.

smuggled goods from different
vehicles near Lakpass area of
Mastung on Saturday. Accord­
ing  to  the  Customs  sources,
the  smuggled items  seized

Saturday. Mohammad Naser Nazari, a provincial coun-

late Friday during the attack in Qadis district. The
Taliban did not comment on the attack. The Afghan
defense ministry also said Saturday that 43 militants
from the Islamic state group, including foreign fighters,
were killed in two separate coalition airstrikes during
the night in coordination with Afghan forces. The state-
ment said the airstrikes targeted IS in eastern Kunar
province’s Chapadara district and killed several Paki-
stani and Uzbek nationals.
Among those killed was a prominent Uzbek mili-
tant leader identified in the statement as Ismail, who
had previously cooperated with the al-Qaeda terrorist
network but had recently joined IS.
