At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:

1. Review
 What are the famous place, events that we talk about yesterday?

2. Motivation
Show picture of flooded areas
 What do you think are the causes of this situation?
 What shall we do to the plastics scattered in the environment?

C. Developmental Activities
1. Presentation of the lesson
Present a story to the class. Entitled “PLASTIKO” by Raquel C. Solis
Motive question:
 What was his dream all about?
 What did the plastic tell to him?
 Why was he afraid of his dream?

2. Discussion
Comprehesion Check:
 Who are the main characters in the story?
 How Plastiko and his friends could dcreate problems in the
environment?
 What could be these problems? Give examples.
 Do you think this would happen? Why?

Study the word /phrases taken from the story “Plastiko”


3. Application
Group the class into 4.Each group must have a leader and a presenter.
Direction: Let them choose three families among their member. Using their
electric bills, have each group present the data through a bar graph.
Processing output is done.
The teacher or pupils will ask question about the graph presented.

4. Generalization
 How are the data presented in a bar graph?
 How could data be presented in a clearer, organized way?
 What is a graph?
 Is it important that we know how to read or interpret dat from a graph?
